Important! If you are using tools for the first time, please read the Beginner's guide and AlienFX-GUI readme to configure its concept and operation principle.

Fan-SDK_V1.zip have binaries built against older fan control versions; use it only in case you know what you're doing (or have Aurora R7), Check readme file inside the archive first to configure it to work!

Changes in this release:

Light control SDK:

  • Saving light state as a default procedure was re-worked (to separate it from the power button set). Should be more stable for APIv1-v4.
  • APIv6 (external monitors) code re-worked using older code from the release 8. Monitors should be working stably now.
  • SetAction code reworked for APIv1-v4 for better unification.

Other:

  • Tool manual files updated to reflect recent UI and code changes.
  • The beginner's guide was rewritten to make it shorter and simple to understand.

Known issues:

  • If AlienFX-GUI started at login ("Start with Windows" setting), the device detection list can be empty (an incorrect working folder prevents finding the database file). Just restart the tool from its folder or shortcut to fix this.
