Welcome to the TAPRx888 wiki!

TAPR is designing a new version of the RX888 Mk II, without VHF, and with internal jumper-selectable LPF and such. The target audience for this board is the HamSCI community.

We hope also to deal with some of the other thermal management issues, remove the Bias-T from the design entirely, still using the Cypress FX3 chip.

Lead designer is Paul Elliott, WB6CXC. Manufacturing will be handled by George Byrkit, K9TRV. Oversight and funding provided by the TAPR board, for the R&D effort. See https://tapr.org

  • Reference Documents — device datasheets (LTC2208, Si5351, EZ-USB FX3, MX25L3233F) and RX888 reference material.
  • Contributing — how we collaborate: workflow, branches, and the design "baton".
