Cooking v0.3.23
Changes
Meat and other aging food now stacks in bundles. Every piece of aging food keeps its own clock, so two pieces of the same meat picked up a few seconds apart used to sit in a bundle as separate entries.
- After you put food into a bundle, or click a bundle onto food, equal food in that bundle merges into one stack, just like in your inventory. Food only merges when it would stack in your inventory: same kind, origin, star rating and freshness.
- A merged stack keeps the data of the older piece, so adding old meat to fresh meat never makes it fresher.
- Bundles that are already split merge the next time you click them.
- Opening a chest no longer makes old food fresher. When a chest opened, matching food in it and in your inventory was made identical so it would stack, but it could copy the fresher piece's aging onto the older one. Now every matching piece takes the oldest piece's aging.

Cooking v0.3.22
Changes
Sauce left in a saucepan can be ladled again after the area unloads. When everyone walked away from a saucepan, or the server restarted, Cooking rebuilt the saucepan but forgot its liquid. The sauce was still shown, but the ladle did nothing, and seasonings and other additions were forgotten too.
- The saucepan's liquid, added ingredients and colours are restored when its chunk loads again.
- The sauce colours and the poured liquid are now saved with the saucepan, so a reloaded sauce comes out the same as one scooped straight away.
- Saucepans filled before this update are restored too, using their ingredients' colours.
Changes: #69.
Targets Java 21 and Minecraft/Paper 1.21.10.

Cooking v0.3.21
Changes
Eating no longer costs health or mana. After every meal, Cooking reset the MMOCore nutrition attribute, even when the diet score hadn't changed. During that reset MMOCore briefly removed the attribute's bonuses and cut health and mana down to the lower maximum. When the bonuses came back, the lost health and mana did not. A player at full health with a good diet lost about 3.5 HP on every bite.
- The nutrition attribute is only updated when the diet score actually changes.
- When it does change, health, mana, stamina and stellium are kept, up to the new maximums. A lower diet now only lowers max health by the real difference.
Changes: #68.
Targets Java 21 and Minecraft/Paper 1.21.10.

Cooking v0.3.20
Changes
MMOItems crafting stations can now accept Cooking food through a new cooking{} ingredient. Recipes recognize both food modified by Cooking and the plain items Cooking converts on pickup, including fish, wheat and meat.
- Registers before station recipes load and keeps Cooking food ahead of the ItemsAdder ingredient matcher.
- Supports food type, origin, quality and tag filters, with recipe previews and cancellation refunds.
- Refunds use the minimum accepted quality and age unconstrained tracks to prevent cancellation from improving food.
- Refreshes the README and testing guidance.
Configuration
Migrate station ingredients for foods Cooking converts from vanilla{} to cooking{}. Updating the plugin alone does not migrate station configuration. For example:
- 'cooking{item="seafood(type=seafood_whole;origin=Salmon)",amount=16,display="Salmon"}'The item path must name a food type. MMOItems remains an optional integration.
Targets Java 21 and Minecraft/Paper 1.21.10.

Cooking v0.3.19
Changes
- Custom crop produce (CustomCrops) now stacks like vanilla crops: harvested food joins stacks of the same food and star rating that only aged differently, whether picked up from the ground or placed straight into the inventory.
- Picking up food also joins an aged stack when the inventory has no other room.
- Partial pickups keep the rest on the ground instead of losing it, for food and for raw items converted on pickup.
- Items owned by another player are left to vanilla, which refuses them.
Targets Java 21 and Minecraft/Paper 1.21.10. Existing configuration and commands remain compatible.

Cooking v0.3.18
Changes
- Preserve ingredients, item outputs and saved cookware state when templates or integrations fail, including failed soup and sauce servings, finished dough batches and mill refunds.
- Keep raw ingredients cooking when added to soup, and preserve accumulated soup thickness through cooking and repeated mashing.
- Fix fractional food aging, livestock reward overflow, invalid item/configuration handling and inventory interaction boundaries.
- Enforce 100% plugin production line coverage in CI, with 982 passing regression tests and no source exclusions.
Targets Java 21 and Minecraft/Paper 1.21.10. Existing configuration and commands remain compatible.
