TLibs 2.6.1

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 14 Oct 04:21

Changes

TLibs 2.6.1 fixes SQLite transaction cleanup when a transaction body throws, including JVM Error and checked failures. Confirmed rollback preserves the original RuntimeException or Error; checked body failures are reported as SqliteDatabaseException.

SQLite can automatically roll back a transaction while JDBC still reports auto-commit disabled. After a failed rollback, TLibs now retains the connection only when a same-connection SQLite probe proves there is no active transaction. Proven auto-rollback keeps the connection usable with its settings intact. If rollback state remains uncertain, TLibs discards the connection without restoring auto-commit or automatically reconnecting; the owning plugin needs a restart or a new store.

Public APIs, character/estate encoding, database schemas and dependency pins are unchanged from 2.6.0. The bundled SQLite driver remains 3.49.1.0. This patch protects future transactions; it does not repair data already written by an older failed migration.

Validation: the exact tag release build passed 251 tests with zero missed lines under Java 21. Real SQLite rollback and follow-up-write probes passed with drivers 3.49.1.0 and 3.53.0.0. The final Cooking 0.5.0 consumer proof passed 1,187 tests plus four migration/estate/automatic-rollback probes against the same compiled provider classes.

Changes: #47. Full changelog.

v2.3.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 11 Oct 22:45
6c9ded4

Changes

  • Adds the shared character identity and session API: immutable character snapshots, session checks for delayed actions, lifecycle events, and per-session state that flushes safely at shutdown.
  • Removes ItemsAdder's legacy armour atlas once all armour has an equipment asset.
  • Pull request size labels are informational and no longer add an approval gate.

Targets Java 21 and Paper 1.21.10. The character API is additive; RPCharacters will provide the service in a following release. This release does not deploy or change live character storage.

v2.2.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 10 Oct 07:45

Changes

  • Render custom armour through vanilla equipment assets (shader packs) by @XxFran10xX in #36
    • ItemsAdder custom armour (dyed leather keyed by an armors_rendering colour) now also renders as a vanilla equipment asset, so Iris/OptiFine shader packs show the real armour instead of plain leather. TLibs adds the assets to ItemsAdder's pack when it is built (iazip) and points worn leather of each colour at its asset.
    • New config equipment-assets.enabled (on by default) and /tlibs equipment [refresh]. /tlibs reload resyncs worn armour.
    • Armours whose names clean to the same asset path are skipped, like duplicate colours. Layer textures are only read from inside each ItemsAdder pack, and an oversized or ZIP64 pack listing no longer fails plugin enable.
    • A piece that becomes a model helmet (e.g. an ArmourShop carved-pumpkin skin) drops its old armour asset, so the old armour is no longer drawn under the model.
    • Run iazip after installing so the served pack contains the assets.
