@jeroentempels-dolby Deploy previews work by pushing a commit to the gh-pages branch, so for safety reasons we only allow that for non-fork non-bot PRs. See rossjrw/pr-preview-action#6. (We could also look into using a third-party solution for deploy previews like Netlify or Cloudflare Pages, which don't need write access to the repo.)

The "build" job is like the "deploy" job in that it builds the entire website, but it doesn't actually push anything. So for these dependency updates, if it builds, it's usually fine to merge.
