Using this mods functions
So, you want to use this mod. This guide will introduce you to the different functions you can use to control the GPS, AV terminal and AC. Take note, instead of using this functions, you could use the Eden modules who are using the same script.
This function lets you set up a script that checks whether a player is inside an area defined by a marker. If they are inside this area, they may be jammed if they belong to a side or group you have defined as the target. To disable the jamming, players must locate a specific object and either interact with it to turn it off or destroy it. You can also choose whether the script should run immediately when you call this function, or only after someone interacts with the object to activate it. The marker will be created when the jamming setup begins, either when the function is called or when a start interaction has happen.
This function should be called on the server, and only on the server, since it has global effects.
When calling this function, you can provide up to six arguments. The first argument is required, while the remaining five are optional.
[Jammer, targets, size, active, switch, dynamic] call TMAST_fnc_setUpJammer;
Jammer - This is the object that will act as the jammer, and it will receive an add action to stop the jamming when this function is called. If the object is destroyed, the jamming will stop. This argument is required for the function to work and if no valid object is provided, the function will not function.
targets - This can be a side, group, an array of players or allPlayers. Default value is allPlayers. This argument define who should be affected by the jamming and this argument is optional.
size - This should be a number. Default value is 2500. This argument define the size of the area who is going to be affected by the jamming and this argument is optional.
active - This is a boolean, default value is true. This argument define if the jamming script should start when this function are called, if set false, then the script needs to be triggered to start.
switch - This is a boolean, default value is false. This argument define if an add action should be added to the jamming object letting one start or restart the jamming script if the jamming is turned off.
Note, turning both active and switch to false do not make sense, one should atleast be true.
dynamic - This is to a boolean, default value is false. This argument define if the jamming area should follow the jamming object, this is mostly used if the object is a moveable object. If it will not move, there is no point to set this to true.
This function lets you set up a script that checks whether a player is inside an area defined by a marker. If they are inside this area, they may be spoofed if they belong to a side or group you have defined as the target. To disable the spoofing, players must locate a specific object and either interact with it to turn it off or destroy it. You can also choose whether the script should run immediately when you call this function, or only after someone interacts with the object to activate it. The marker will be created when the spoofing setup begins, either when the function is called or when a start interaction has happen.
This function should be called on the server, and only on the server, since it has global effects.
When calling this function, you can provide up to seven arguments. The first argument is required, while the remaining six are optional.

size - This should be a number. Default value is 2500. This argument define the size of the area who is going to be affected by the spoofing and this argument is optional.
active - This is a boolean, default value is true. This argument define if the spoofing script should start when this function are called, if set false, then the script needs to be triggered to start.
switch - This is a boolean, default value is false. This argument define if an add action should be added to the spoofing object letting one start or restart the spoofing script if the spoofing is turned off.
Note, turning both active and switch to false do not make sense, one should atleast be true.
spoofedTarget - This should be an object. Default value is the spoofer. But it can be an other object. This defines what the GPS should follow instead of the player.
dynamic - This is to a boolean, default value is false. This argument define if the spoofing area should follow the spoofer object, this is mostly used if the object is a moveable object. If it will not move, there is no point to set this to true.

[Spoofer, targets, size, active, switch, spoofedData, dynamic] call TMAST_fnc_setUpSpoofer;
Spoofer- This is the object that will act as the spoofer, and it will receive an add action to stop the spoofing when this function is called. If the object is destroyed, the spoofing will stop. This argument is required for the function to work and if no valid object is provided, the function will not function.
targets - This can be a side, group, an array of players or allPlayers. Default value is allPlayers. This argument define who should be affected by the spoofing and this argument is optional.
size - This should be a number.
Note, turning both active and switch to false do not make sense, one should atleast be true.
spoofedData - This should be an array of two numbers. Default value is [313,67]. The first number is the distance from the real position the shifted position should be, the second number is the direction from the real position.
dynamic - This is to a boolean, default value is false. This argument define if the spoofing area should follow the spoofer object, this is mostly used if the object is a moveable object. If it will not move, there is no point to set this to true.
This function lets you set up a script that checks whether a player is inside an area defined by a marker. If they are inside this area, they may be exposed to interference affecting their GPS signal. This interference can either block the signal completely or sometimes, it can also shift the position shown on the GPS. Unlike the previous functions where the marker was created by the script, this function requires you to create the marker beforehand.
This function should be called on the server, and only on the server, since it has global effects.
When calling this function, you can provide up to ten arguments. The first argument is required, while the remaining nine are optional.
[Marker, signalShadow, multipathing, laggingInformation, shifting, shiftingSec, shadowWeight, pathingWeight, signalWeight, altitude] call TMAST_fnc_setUpSignalShadow;
Marker - This should be a marker, for example you can use the variable name to a marker. Inside this marker is going to be the area where the signal interference will happen. This argument is required for the function to work and if no valid object is provided, the function will not function.
signalShadow - This is a boolean, the default value is true. This argument define if signal shadow should be a part of the signal interference, leading to players having their GPS blocked.
multipathing- This is a boolean, the default value is false. This argument define if multipathing should be a part of the signal interference, leading to players having their GPS location shifted.
Note, turning both signalShadow and multipathing to false do not make sense, one should atleast be true.
laggingInformation - This should be an array of two numbers. Default value is [235,69]. The first number is the distance from the real position the shifted position should be, the second number is the direction from the real position.
shifting - This is a boolean, default value is false. This argument define if one should have a shifting interference to normal signals, for exemple one change between having blocked signals and normal signals, or multipathing and normal signals, or blocked, multipathing and normal signals.
shiftingSec- This should be a number. Default value is 60. This argument represent how long a shifting cycle should be, this argument do also impact the cycle between blocked and multipathing interference to.
shadowWeight - This should be a number. Default value is 50. This argument defines the selection weight to signal shadow in a shifting cycle, a higher number increases the chances for signals shadow to be selected. Setting it to 0 will be disable it from being selected.
pathingWeight - This should be a number. Default value is 30. This argument defines the selection weight to multipathing in a shifting cycle, a higher number increases the chances for multipathing to be selected. Setting it to 0 will be disable it from being selected.
signalWeight - This should be a number. Default value is 20. This argument defines the selection weight to normal signals in a shifting cycle, a higher number increases the chances for normal signal to be selected. Setting it to 0 will be disable it from being selected.
altitude - This should be a number. Default value is 750. This argument defines the the height over sea level one need to be to be defined outside the interference area, if they are inside the marker area. Letting for example planes fly over valleys without getting interference, meanwhile infantry inside the valley will get interference.
This function lets you set up a script that will run on the server and set the scintillation for a an array of selected players. The signal states can be blocked signals, lagging/shifted signals or normal signals. You can decide to have only blocked or and shifted signals.
This function should be called on the server, and only on the server, since it has global effects.
When calling this function, you can provide up to six arguments, where all six arguments are optional.
[timeEffect, lagWeight, blockWeigth, normWeigth, laggingInformation, target] call TMAST_fnc_setUpScintillation;
timeEffect - This should be a number. Default value is 120. This argument represent how long a shifting cycle should be.
lagWeight - This should be a number. Default value is 50. This argument defines the selection weight to lagging/shifting signals in a shifting cycle, a higher number increases the chances for this to be selected. Setting it to 0 will be disable it from being selected.
blockWeigth - This should be a number. Default value is 25. This argument defines the selection weight to blocked signals in a shifting cycle, a higher number increases the chances for this to be selected. Setting it to 0 will be disable it from being selected.
normWeigth - This should be a number. Default value is 25. This argument defines the selection weight to normal signals in a shifting cycle, a higher number increases the chances for this to be selected. Setting it to 0 will be disable it from being selected.
laggingInformation - This should be an array of two numbers. Default value is [670,67]. The first number is the distance from the real position the shifted position should be, the second number is the direction from the real position.
target - This should be an array of players. Default value is allPlayers. The argument defines who should be targeted by the scintillation.
To disable the scintillation, you can set the missionNamespace variable "TMAST_ScintillationEnabled" to false or nil. This will stop this script and set all targeted players to have normal signals.
