Flight Panel Mode
Tap ◈ PANEL (top right) and the UI becomes a touch-first cockpit display for a tablet mounted at your flight station. Tap the same button (or ✕ in the bottom bar) to exit. The mode and current page are remembered per device.
A glowing system readout, fuel and cargo gauges, credits/legal/explo/bio tiles, live session stats (credits per hour, jumps, distance), recent jumps as big tap-to-replot buttons, a one-line route plotter, and ◈ BEST LOOP FROM HERE — one tap finds the top trade loops around you, no form filling.
The bottom touch bar (or swiping left/right — the page follows your finger) moves between Status, Trade, Market, Explore, Guides, Stats, Local and DB. All eight pages share the cockpit design language: orange rails, glowing letter-spaced labels, chunky solid controls, touch-sized tables.
Tap the floating ⇅ button (or ⇅ ARRANGE next to the tabs in normal mode): every card collapses to a compact header with an orange ⠿ DRAG handle. Drag cards into whatever order suits you — bio signals on top of Explore, jump history first in Local. Tap ⇅ again to finish. Layouts are saved per page, per device, so your tablet and desktop can differ.
Toggle with 🔊 VOICE on the status page. Every callout also flashes a banner or toast, so it works with sound off. What it speaks:

Fuel math uses your actual fuel burn (worst of your recent jumps) and the star classes on your plotted route (scoopable = K G B F O A M + proto-stars).
- Add the LAN URL to your tablet's home screen for a fullscreen app feel.
- Swipe is disabled inside tables and text fields so scrolling still works.
- The location card stays pinned above every page like cockpit chrome.
