AquaLevel v1.0 Release Notes
Initial Stable Release (March 22, 2025)
This marks the first stable release of AquaLevel, providing a complete water tank monitoring solution.
What's Included
- Complete ESP32-based system with HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor support
- Responsive web dashboard with real-time water level visualization
- WiFi connectivity with fallback Access Point mode
- User calibration system for empty and full states
- Tank parameter configuration (dimensions, volume, alerts)
- Reading smoothing algorithm for stable measurements
- Persistent settings stored in EEPROM
- High and low water level alerts
Technical Notes
- Default pin configuration: GPIO 1 (Trigger), GPIO 3 (Echo)
- Measurement interval: 5 seconds (configurable from 1-60 seconds)
- Smoothing default: 5 readings (configurable from 1-50)
- Default alert thresholds: 10% (low), 90% (high)

- Fixed smoothing buffer memory allocation issue
- Implemented dynamic measurement interval
- Added proper alert state tracking to prevent repeated alerts
- Optimized WiFi reconnection logic
- Improved web interface with dark mode design
- Added one-click calibration buttons to dashboard
