Mobile Access

1. Start Studio Inventory on the main computer.
2. Under Backup & Restore, set an owner PIN of at least 6 characters.
3. Connect the phone/tablet to the same trusted Wi-Fi.
4. Open the LAN address shown by Studio Inventory and enter the PIN.

Android Chrome/Edge and iPad Safari support inventory editing and photo capture. On normal LAN HTTP, use Take a Label Photo or the device camera for QR codes; live barcode video requires HTTPS.

Never forward port 3847 to the internet. Normal LAN traffic is not encrypted; use trusted WPA2/WPA3 Wi-Fi, HTTPS, or a VPN.
