Installation
1. Find out what you need
You need the file that matches your mod loader (Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt) and your Minecraft version (1.21.11 up to 26.3). The download files are named like this:
Statusmod-1.4.0-fabric-1.21.11.jar → loader fabric, version 1.21.11
Not sure which loader you have? Look at how you start the game: Fabric/Quilt use the Fabric installer, Forge/NeoForge have their own installers.
2. Put the file into mods/
Singleplayer: open your Minecraft instance folder, put the .jar into the mods folder.
Server: put the .jar into the server's mods folder.
Fabric/Quilt also need Fabric API (same Minecraft version) in the same folder. Forge/NeoForge need nothing extra.
3. Start the game or server
Singleplayer: just start – type /status hello to test.
Server: restart the server. Players need no mod on their side.
Java versions
Minecraft 1.21.11 → Java 21
Minecraft 26.x → Java 25
If the game crashes on start with "UnsupportedClassVersionError", you are using the wrong Java.
