Installation

  1. In game, open Dalamud Settings (/xlsettings)

  2. Go to Experimental → Custom Plugin Repositories

  3. Paste this URL into the empty box at the bottom and press the + button:

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ThatKwistine/WardrobePlugin/main/pluginmaster.json

  5. Open the plugin installer (/xlplugins), search for Wardrobe, and install

Updates then arrive through the normal plugin installer like any other plugin.

Fixes

  • A glamour plate keeps its dyes when its attached mods go on. An upscale attached to a plate is applied as a mod only — the plate's own gear stays and the mod re-skins it. Two places then put the mod's detected game item over the plate's piece with no dye: the re-applies a few seconds after a mod is switched on, and the re-apply after every redraw, which switching the mod on is. Mod-only items are left out of both now, and a redraw puts the outfit's own plain pieces back with their dyes instead. Along the way, In-Game Look no longer leaves the previous outfit's hat and weapon toggles to come back on the next redraw.
  • An outfit's advanced dyes come off when the next outfit goes on, even after a plugin reload. Which rows were the wardrobe's to put back was worked out from the outfit in force and the worn list, and a plugin reload empties both — so an outfit worn before a reload kept its colours on whatever the next outfit put in its slots. The wardrobe keeps its own record of the rows it has on you now, and that record survives a reload. Rows you set by hand in Glamourer are never in it.

v1.6.2.6 - A dot marks the size you picked

@ThatKwistine ThatKwistine released this 15 Sep 18:53

Installation

  1. In game, open Dalamud Settings (/xlsettings)

  2. Go to Experimental → Custom Plugin Repositories

  3. Paste this URL into the empty box at the bottom and press the + button:

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ThatKwistine/WardrobePlugin/main/pluginmaster.json

  4. Click Save and Close

  5. Open the plugin installer (/xlplugins), search for Wardrobe, and install

Updates then arrive through the normal plugin installer like any other plugin.

What's new

  • A dot marks the size you picked. In the size list a dot sits on the selection, in place of the highlight, which was the same shade as the mouse hovering and so said nothing once you were over it. In a set it is the one thing you picked — the refit's toggle while it is on, the body size once it is off — and outside a set, whatever each group is set to.

Fixes

  • The button no longer reads "as is" beside the body size. With a refit's toggle off, the one-list button read Size: as is · Neolithe — the toggle was listed though it had nothing to say. A toggle that is off is nothing now, so it reads Size: Neolithe, and "as is" only appears when nothing at all is set.

v1.6.2.5 - One set is the item's own tick

@ThatKwistine ThatKwistine released this 14 Sep 17:14

Installation

  1. In game, open Dalamud Settings (/xlsettings)

  2. Go to Experimental → Custom Plugin Repositories

  3. Paste this URL into the empty box at the bottom and press the + button:

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ThatKwistine/WardrobePlugin/main/pluginmaster.json

  4. Click Save and Close

  5. Open the plugin installer (/xlplugins), search for Wardrobe, and install

Updates then arrive through the normal plugin installer like any other plugin.

What's new

  • Which size groups act as one set is the item's own tick. One set, beside the Size option tick in Edit. Groups ticked are alternatives to each other — pick a body size and the refit's toggle goes off, pick the toggle and it goes on over the body size — and a group without the tick, a print beside the sizes, is its own pick and is never touched by another. It was tied to the one-list setting in 1.6.2.4, which had every item behave the same way; the one-list setting is layout only now. Only a checkbox toggle can be switched off, so a set of two dropdowns changes nothing.

v1.6.2.4 - One list, one set of sizes

@ThatKwistine ThatKwistine released this 14 Sep 15:49

Installation

  1. In game, open Dalamud Settings (/xlsettings)

  2. Go to Experimental → Custom Plugin Repositories

  3. Paste this URL into the empty box at the bottom and press the + button:

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ThatKwistine/WardrobePlugin/main/pluginmaster.json

  4. Click Save and Close

  5. Open the plugin installer (/xlplugins), search for Wardrobe, and install

Updates then arrive through the normal plugin installer like any other plugin.

What's new

  • As one list, an item's size groups act as one set of sizes. With Show an item's size groups as one list on, a body's sizes and a refit's toggle are one pick: choose a body size and the refit's toggle goes off, choose the toggle and it goes on over the body size, and the button reads what is in effect — Size: Muse while Muse is on, the body size once it is off. Off, as it ships, each group is a menu of its own and nothing in one changes anything in another.

v1.6.2.3 - Size groups as one list, and a same-name fix

Choose a tag to compare

@ThatKwistine ThatKwistine released this 14 Sep 13:27

Installation

  1. In game, open Dalamud Settings (/xlsettings)

  2. Go to Experimental → Custom Plugin Repositories

  3. Paste this URL into the empty box at the bottom and press the + button:

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ThatKwistine/WardrobePlugin/main/pluginmaster.json

  4. Click Save and Close

  5. Open the plugin installer (/xlplugins), search for Wardrobe, and install

Updates then arrive through the normal plugin installer like any other plugin.

What's new

  • An item's size groups as one list, if you would rather. Show an item's size groups as one list, under Settings → Size Options, opens an item with several size groups — a body's sizes and a refit's toggle — to one list of all of them with a rule between groups, and the button reads each group's option in turn. Off, as it ships, it opens to a menu per group. The groups are independent either way.

Fixes

  • Two mods on one item with a group of the same name can both be marked as a size. A main mod and a refit that each had a group called "Body Size" shared one set of controls in Edit, so a tick on the second landed on the first — and the same was true of their option pickers. Each mod's options are their own now.

v1.6.2.2 - Size groups are independent again

Choose a tag to compare

@ThatKwistine ThatKwistine released this 14 Sep 12:10

Installation

  1. In game, open Dalamud Settings (/xlsettings)

  2. Go to Experimental → Custom Plugin Repositories

  3. Paste this URL into the empty box at the bottom and press the + button:

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ThatKwistine/WardrobePlugin/main/pluginmaster.json

  4. Click Save and Close

  5. Open the plugin installer (/xlplugins), search for Wardrobe, and install

Updates then arrive through the normal plugin installer like any other plugin.

Fixes

  • Size groups are independent of each other again. 1.6.2.1 had a pick in one of an item's size groups switch off the toggles in its other size groups — a body size chosen turned a refit's toggle off, and the other way round. It should never have; each group is its own pick, and choosing in one now touches nothing in another.

v1.6.2.1 - Size options settle in, the edit panel folds up

Choose a tag to compare

@ThatKwistine ThatKwistine released this 14 Sep 11:57

Installation

  1. In game, open Dalamud Settings (/xlsettings)

  2. Go to Experimental → Custom Plugin Repositories

  3. Paste this URL into the empty box at the bottom and press the + button:

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ThatKwistine/WardrobePlugin/main/pluginmaster.json

  4. Click Save and Close

  5. Open the plugin installer (/xlplugins), search for Wardrobe, and install

Updates then arrive through the normal plugin installer like any other plugin.

What's new

  • One Size button, however many size groups an item has. An item with one size group reads its option — Size: nymph — and opens straight to the list. With several — a body's dropdown and a refit shipped as a mod of its own — it reads Size Options and opens to a menu per group, each named for the group and where it stands, with the option in force ticked inside. The right-click menu reads the same way. It was a line per group, and a card has room for two.
  • Within a checkbox group of sizes, picking one turns the other sizes off. Anything else in the group — a fix, an extra — is left as it was.
  • Choose which options the card offers, and what it calls them. Under the Size option tick in Edit, On the card lists the group's options with a tick each and a box for a name. None, then tick the four sizes your character wears, and a sixty-option body mod is a four-line pick; type Muse beside a refit's toggle called Top and that is what the card says. Options are still applied by their real names, and Penumbra is never changed.
  • The edit panel folds into sections. The picture, the name and the slot stay on screen. Game item, Glamourer design, Mods, Mod Options, Tags, Notes, Linked items and Variants are collapsing sections with their counts in the title, and which ones are open is remembered from one item to the next and across launches. Tags starts open.
  • Putting worn items back after a redraw is a setting. On by default, which is how it has worked since 1.6.1.1: after Penumbra redraws you, the worn items, their dyes and the outfit's hat and weapon toggles go back to Glamourer. Off, a redraw is left alone, so a piece you took off in Glamourer stays off until you wear something from the wardrobe again. Settings → Wearing.
  • Folders on the old toolbar. A Folders button beside Tags, opening the same panel as the menu bar's View → Folders.

Fixes

  • Hiding the game's interface hides the wardrobe during a screenshot session. A session keeps the plugin drawing while the interface is hidden, so it can read each picture, and that kept every window on screen through Scroll Lock for exactly as long as a session ran. The windows go now. Keep the guide when the game's interface is hidden — under the Crop Guide setting, and on the session HUD — leaves the crop guide up on the cleared screen if you want it.

v1.6.2.0 - Folders, sizes on the card, and a card menu

@ThatKwistine ThatKwistine released this 13 Sep 17:56

Installation

  1. In game, open Dalamud Settings (/xlsettings)

  2. Go to Experimental → Custom Plugin Repositories

  3. Paste this URL into the empty box at the bottom and press the + button:

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ThatKwistine/WardrobePlugin/main/pluginmaster.json

  4. Click Save and Close

  5. Open the plugin installer (/xlplugins), search for Wardrobe, and install

Updates then arrive through the normal plugin installer like any other plugin.

What's new

  • Folders. File cards away into folders, on both grids. Once a folder exists a Folders button joins the filter row beside Worn and Variants, and it works like them: on, the grid shows one card per folder — a 3x3 of what is inside, the name and the count — opened by clicking, with Back and the crumbs above the grid to lead out again; off, every card stands on its own, filed or not. Folders nest on a slash, take a colour like a style, and search and the other filters look inside every one of them, with each card saying how much of it matched.
  • Filing, from wherever you are. Add to Folder on the Select bar, Put in folder in Edit Selected and on a card's right-click menu, and — inside an open folder — Add to this folder, which picks from the whole wardrobe and can move other folders inside. Filing is a move: a card leaves whatever folder it was in, and an item's variants go with it. View → Folders lists every folder with what is in it, makes them ahead of use, and renames, colours or deletes them. Deleting a folder never deletes what was in it.
  • Sizes on the card. A body mod's size group — YAB+ S / M, Small / Medium / Large, Flat / Big — can sit on the item's card as a small Size button under the action row, opening to the group's options by the mod's own names. Picking one sets the option on the item, exactly as Edit would, and sends it to Penumbra if the item is on. The same pick is a submenu on the card's right-click menu.
  • Which group is the size is a tick. Size option, under the group in Edit. Import, mass import and Re-detect tick it for you on body and leg items whose options plainly read as sizes — never over a tick you took off. A mod whose sizes are named unusually is a tick away. The guess switches off under Settings → Importing, and the whole feature under Settings → Size Options.
  • A right-click menu on every item card. Wear or Unequip, Edit, Rename, Favourite, Put in folder, Tags and Styles as tick lists with a box for a new tag, Select, Size, Screenshot, View picture, Copy to wardrobe and Delete — without opening the editor. In Select mode, right-clicking a ticked card acts on the whole selection.
  • The full-size picture viewer moved onto that menu. It is View picture there now rather than a right-click on the picture itself; the two fought over the click.
  • Import From A Wardrobe knows what you already have. A piece counts as already here when this wardrobe holds a copy of it, the original it was copied from, another copy of the same original, or the same mod at the same options in the same slot — however it got here — and the row says which it found. Variants sit under their original and come along when it is ticked, with linked pieces; the list filters by slot, sorts by slot, name or newest, searches mod names, and carries a picture per row.
  • Copies can take their pictures with them. Copy pictures too, in the Import panel and on the Copy to wardrobe menu, gives the copies picture files of their own in the other wardrobe's folder. Off, as before, they show the same files as the original. Tag with the source wardrobe's name is beside it.
  • Filing by Penumbra folder. Experimental. Turn on Folders From Penumbra under Settings → Grid & Cards and the Folders panel gains a button that reads where each item's mod sits on Penumbra's mod list and files the item under the same folder path. Nothing in Penumbra is changed, and items already in a folder are left there unless you say otherwise.

Fixes

  • Advanced dyes land again under Glamourer 1.7. Glamourer 1.7 spells a material row's key with eight hex digits where 1.6 used sixteen. A row the wardrobe had stored under the old spelling was sent back beside the same row in the new one, and Glamourer warned "Duplicate material value key … skipped" on every apply — and skipped the wardrobe's row, so an outfit's advanced dyes did not go on. Rows are matched by number now, whichever way they are spelt; nothing stored needs redoing.
  • Copying a piece back to the wardrobe it came from no longer makes a second one. Copy a piece from one wardrobe to another, then pull from the second back into the first, and the first got a duplicate of its own item. It is recognised as already there now.
  • Renaming a tag or style reaches outfits. It rewrote the tag on every item and left the old name on every outfit that carried it, so a renamed style stopped filtering the outfits it was on.

v1.6.1.1 - Your look is put back after a redraw

Installation

  1. In game, open Dalamud Settings (/xlsettings)

  2. Go to Experimental → Custom Plugin Repositories

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ThatKwistine/WardrobePlugin/main/pluginmaster.json

  4. Click Save and Close

  5. Open the plugin installer (/xlplugins), search for Wardrobe, and install

Updates then arrive through the normal plugin installer like any other plugin.

Fixes

  • Your look is put back after a redraw — for the first time. Everything the wardrobe was meant to do after Penumbra redraws you — put the worn items and their dyes back, the outfit's hat and weapon toggles, and the base character's design when it asks to be kept on — was listening for a Penumbra event under a name Penumbra has never used, so none of it ever ran. It does now: a Refresh puts everything back in one redraw. Found while checking the wardrobe against Penumbra 1.7.1 and Glamourer 1.7.1, which changed nothing else that affects it. It is held to the player only, a design with Glamourer's own force-redraw ticked cannot bounce it into redrawing forever, and the record of what you were last wearing moved into a small file of its own so writing it no longer writes the whole wardrobe out — the record you already have carries over.

v1.6.1.0 - The wardrobe takes its own pictures, and facewear gets a slot

Choose a tag to compare

@ThatKwistine ThatKwistine released this 09 Sep 21:15

Installation

  1. In game, open Dalamud Settings (/xlsettings)

  2. Go to Experimental → Custom Plugin Repositories

  3. Paste this URL into the empty box at the bottom and press the + button:

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ThatKwistine/WardrobePlugin/main/pluginmaster.json

  4. Click Save and Close

  5. Open the plugin installer (/xlplugins), search for Wardrobe, and install

Updates then arrive through the normal plugin installer like any other plugin.

What's new

  • The wardrobe takes session pictures itself. A session no longer asks the game for a screenshot — it reads the picture out of the frame the game has just drawn, so there is no screenshot function to call, no key pressed at the window and no folder watched for a file to appear in. Measured against a screenshot the game took of the same scene, the picture is identical. A captured picture has no ReShade preset in it, since that runs later in the frame than the point this reads.
  • Screenshots you take by hand are unchanged. They are still watched for and filed exactly as before, and manual mode is untouched.
  • Facewear is a slot of its own. Glasses, monocles and sunglasses now import as Facewear rather than as a hat, and are worn alongside head gear rather than instead of it. They have an icon in both icon sets and take a Facewear.png in a custom icon folder or pack like any other slot.
  • Mods can be attached to a glamour plate. A plate is the game's own gear and the game has never heard of Penumbra, so a vanilla gear upscale had nothing to switch it on. Attach it under Mods worn with this plate in the plate's edit panel and it goes on whenever the plate does — the mod only, with the plate's own pieces left exactly as the game put them on.
  • Apply Base is on the toolbar and the Character menu. It puts your base character back on over whatever you are wearing — its design's customisations, then any of its items you do not already have on — and takes nothing off.

Fixes

  • A mod for a recoloured piece of gear is detected as that recolour. One model set carries every recolour of a piece — e0110 is the Hellhound armour, the Grey Hound and the Shadowhound — and detection took the oldest item wearing that model, so a mod for the newest named the piece it was recoloured from and came out looking unmodded. 11,067 of the game's 20,238 equippable non-weapon items sit behind a recolour like that.

Worth doing once

  • Press Re-detect on gear whose mod is for a recolour. Items already in your wardrobe keep the game item they were given at the time. The sign that one needs it is a piece that comes out looking unmodded when you wear it.
  • Move a glasses mod to Facewear by hand. Anything imported before this is sitting in the Head slot. Press Re-detect and it tells you which slot the mod's files are really for — set Slot to Facewear, press Re-detect again, and it finds the right pair.
