Bannerlator 2.2.2
Bannerlator 2.2.2
Run Windows apps and games on Android — no PC and no root required.
2.2.2's headline is in-game ReShade. You can now run real ReShade .fx post-processing on your DirectX games, set up per game, tuned live in the in-game drawer, and stacked if you like. On top of that it lands a batch of fixes from GitHub and Discord: the FPS limiter no longer resets between sessions, on-screen controls finally honour a white colour, container creation can no longer get stuck, and very light / dark custom accents stay readable. This release is entirely app-side — no ImageFS reinstall — and your existing containers refresh their ReShade layer automatically on next launch, so AMOLED stays the default and updating won't change your look.
✨ What's New
🎬 In-game ReShade effects — new
Run real ReShade .fx effects — colour grading, sharpen, film grain, CRT, tonemap, LUTs and more — on DXVK / VKD3D games, compiled on-device via the bundled vkBasalt layer.
- Per-game setup. Pick effects when editing a container or a game shortcut; your selection is saved with that game and restored every launch.
- On-demand catalog. Browse and search a catalog of ~100 curated MIT / CC0 effects and download only the ones you want — nothing is bundled into the APK. Or drop your own effect into the
ReShade/folder (guide in the repo README). - A dedicated in-game ReShade tab. It reads each shader and auto-generates the right control for every parameter — sliders, toggles, dropdowns and colour pickers — with a Reset-to-defaults button. Toggle effects on/off and tune them live, no restart, and your in-game changes persist per game across quit → relaunch.
- Solo or stack. Run a single effect, or layer several at once.
⚠️ Stacking multiple effects? Add them a few at a time. Each ReShade effect compiles on-device and costs GPU, so selecting too many at once can stop a game from starting — you'll get a flat / blank screen instead of the game. If that happens, go back into the per-game ReShade effect settings and uncheck the effects one at a time (or the specific heavy one) until the game boots correctly, then add more gradually.(Colour effects today; depth effects such as SSAO / depth-of-field aren't supported yet. ReShade only affects DirectX games running through DXVK / VKD3D.)
♻️ Existing containers auto-update the ReShade layer
Updating from an earlier version? Your existing containers pick up the new ReShade (vkBasalt) layer automatically on their next launch — you don't have to recreate a container or reinstall the ImageFS for ReShade to work.
🛟 In-game drawer rail now scrolls
On shorter screens the left icon rail could push Exit off the bottom edge. The rail is now scrollable, so every control — including Exit — is always reachable.
🎛️ FPS limiter now sticks between sessions
Toggling the in-game FPS limiter for a game launched from a shortcut is now saved to that game — it no longer reverts every time you close and reopen the game. (Fixes the second half of #46.)
🎨 Fixes
- White on-screen controls — setting the virtual-control colour to white now stays white instead of falling back to blue. (#46)
- Readable light / dark accents — a very light custom theme accent no longer paints the
+/ Play / badges white-on-white, and a very dark one no longer goes dark-on-dark; the glyph colour is derived from the accent automatically. AMOLED and the built-in presets are byte-identical to before. - Container creation could get stuck — after deleting a container that still had a leftover shortcut, creating a new container could silently fail and stay broken. The stale entry is now cleaned up and no longer blocks creation. (#45)
Previously in 2.2 — the themeable-interface overhaul (already in your build if you're on 2.2)
- 🎨 A themeable interface, redesigned — your selected theme recolours the whole app and the in-game side drawer, with a rebuilt drawer and accent-driven buttons.
- 🌈 9 new colour presets (16 total) — Midnight Cobalt, Phosphor, Carbon & Ember, Amethyst, Crimson, Synthwave, Royal Gold, Frost and Monochrome, plus a custom HSV accent picker. AMOLED stays the default.
- 🕹️ Per-game on-screen control colours — controls follow your theme, or take a per-game colour you set in the Controls editor.
- ⭐ File Manager — Favorites / bookmarked folders — pin the folders you open most and jump to them from a dedicated ★ Favorites list, each entry tagged by storage source (Internal / SD / a container's Drive C: or Z:) and full path.
- 🎮 Controller-binding screen rebuilt in the modern UI — readable under any theme, cards, live button feedback.
- 🧰 In-game Task Manager — "New Task" works on the Vulkan / Native renderers, and processes show as cards.

ℹ️ Updating in-app? This release is entirely app-side — the standard APK update covers everything in 2.2.2. There's no ImageFS reinstall required: your existing containers refresh their ReShade layer on next launch, and your selected theme, custom accent and per-game control colours carry over untouched.
🙏 Thanks to everyone in the Discord and on GitHub who tested the ReShade work and reported the control-colour, container-creation and FPS-limiter issues — your reports drove this release.
