  • Ports, chargers and cables now show up on M1 and M2 Macs. Wattson looked for USB-C ports under the name Apple uses on M3 and later, and M1 and M2 Macs name them differently, so on those machines it found no ports at all: no charger details, no contract, no cable. It now finds both. Not yet confirmed on an M1 or M2 here; if something still looks wrong, a capture helps (/Applications/Wattson.app/Contents/MacOS/Wattson --capture mymac). (#3)
  • The charging estimate says "to 100%" instead of "until full". It is the battery's own time to 100%, and macOS doesn't make the charge limit readable, so on a Mac capped at 80% "until full" promised a time it would never reach. (#3)
  • A charger is no longer reported missing when the Mac doesn't say how much power is arriving. One reading could overrule the system's own "charger attached" whenever a different one answered.
  • No gap after the menu bar reading. 2.7 held room for the widest reading it might ever show; the wattage now keeps a fixed number of digits instead (9.81 W, 10.2 W), so the item stays one width without the empty space.
  • --health now names the Wattson version in its first line.
