Codex Meter 1.1.0

A privacy-first activity and automation release. Codex Meter now shows local token trends, supports user-owned API-equivalent cost estimates, and includes a scriptable CLI — without adding analytics, an account service or an external history database.

New

  • Seven-day local token activity chart from aggregate Codex session counters
  • Repeated-counter, reset and archived-session deduplication for accurate totals
  • Optional API-equivalent estimates using rates you enter yourself
  • Four menu-bar modes: icon + percentage, percentage, icon and activity chart
  • Universal codex-meter CLI with text/JSON status and history
  • Threshold exit code 2 for cron, Shortcuts and shell alerts
  • Explicit privacy, CLI and WidgetKit signing documentation

Trust and performance

  • Current quota failures remain visible instead of becoming fake estimates
  • Prompt, response and tool fields are never retained by the local history model
  • Local activity refreshes at most every ten minutes and uses no helper daemon
  • CI verifies version alignment, both architectures, signatures and release contents

Install

Download Codex-Meter-1.1.0.zip. Move Codex Meter.app to /Applications. The optional codex-meter binary and installation instructions are included in the same folder.

The free community build remains ad-hoc signed. Control-click the app and choose Open once if macOS asks.
