Place the release JAR in the server's mods directory and restart the server. World-grid placement is server-authoritative.
Client installation is strongly recommended. It provides:
- the explicit World-Grid Use goggle label;
- Create-styled configuration screens;
- motion-driven deployer hand animation;
- target, path, block-trail, and server-outcome diagnostics.
The patch adds no blocks, items, or synchronized registry entries. A client without it can still join when Create, Sable, and the rest of the server's required pack match, but it sees World-Grid Use as ordinary Use and has no patch UI or diagnostics.
Stop Minecraft or the dedicated server before replacing the JAR. The extra mode is persisted in deployer NBT and Sable sublevel user data, so normal upgrades retain configured deployers.
