RiverWise v0.2.3

This release improves UK Environment Agency support and makes the UK station picker much more reliable.

Highlights

  • UK station metadata now loads with full Environment Agency measure details
  • Fixed UK stations where measures is returned as a single object instead of an array
  • Improved UK measure selection so RiverWise prefers current numeric level readings with real units
  • Filtered the UK station dropdown to hide stations that do not have a current usable level reading
  • Reduced cases where UK stations showed no stage, no hydrograph, or --- units
  • Keeps the public repo/HACS packaging, screenshots, documentation, and issue templates from the previous release

Notes

RiverWise remains beta software.

US NOAA/NWS NWPS gauges can show observed and forecast hydrographs where available.

UK Environment Agency support currently renders observed readings only because the EA flood-monitoring API does not provide the same NWPS-style forecast crest feed.
