RiverWise v0.2.4

This release fixes the UK Environment Agency station dropdown regression from v0.2.3 and improves UK station selection behavior.

Highlights

  • Fixed UK station lists not loading after stricter station filtering
  • UK dropdown now keeps stations that have a real level measure with a real unit
  • Selected UK stations still validate actual readings when the card loads
  • Disabled placeholder rows like “Load station list” so they cannot behave like fake selectable stations
  • Reload station list now uses the current filter text
  • Improved handling for UK Environment Agency station metadata where measures may be returned as either an object or an array
  • Improved UK measure selection so RiverWise prefers usable stage/level measures over stale or unitless measures

Notes

RiverWise remains beta software.

US NOAA/NWS NWPS gauges can show observed and forecast hydrographs where available.

UK Environment Agency support currently renders observed readings only because the EA flood-monitoring API does not provide the same NWPS-style forecast crest feed.
