The entity:

sensor.ugreen_nas_ups_power_remaining

reports UPS battery percentage correctly, but does not have the Home Assistant battery device class assigned.

Current state:

state: 100
unit_of_measurement: %

Suggested change: add

device_class: battery
state_class: measurement

The UPS percentage originates from the API value:

GET /ugreen/v1/sysinfo/machine/common?token={token}

Example response:

Request:

Please add device_class: battery to the UPS Power Remaining sensor so Home Assistant treats it as a battery entity and displays the correct battery icon, battery-based automations, and dashboard functionality.

This appears to be a percentage-based battery level sensor and would align with Home Assistant's battery sensor standards.

Love the dashboard. keep up the good work.

Done - it took a little more effort than expected, as the API reports the string 100% instead of a plain number 100. Will be included in the next release:

I installed the beta release v2026.11.1-beta1and it works. That allowed my battery management card to include the Ugreen UPS entry sensor.ugreen_nas_ups_power_remaining with the rest of my batteries. Thanks
