A living floor plan for Home Assistant.
Maquette is a Lovelace custom card (custom:maquette-card) that shows your home from above, live: lights glowing in
their rooms, open windows in red, shutters at their real position, every room tinted by its temperature, power flowing
to the devices that use it. You draw the plan right inside your dashboard with a built-in editor: no floor-plan image to
prepare, no external tool, no YAML to write (but everything is plain YAML if you want it).

| Live plan | Rooms tinted by temperature, openings red when open, shutters drawn by position, light halos clipped to their room, power badges, connected furniture (charger, fridge, TV…). |
| Room view | Tap a room: it zooms in with its devices, openings, automatic buttons, your own buttons, scenes and linked automations. |
| Cards | Any opening, badge or piece of furniture can open its own card made of widgets (shutter or gate control, charts, counters, EV…). |
| Side panels | 11 widget types and 65 ready-made widgets: live tariff, EV, gauge, chart tile, thermostat, lock, room climate, day / week / month / year tables from HA statistics… |
| Ambience | Optional: day and night from sun.sun, real weather on outdoor areas, fading traces of what just changed, energy flows, people at home or away in their real direction. |
| Alerts and replay | Full-plan alerts (smoke, leak, opening while nobody is home…) and a replay of the last hours of the whole plan. |
| Editor | Walls, rooms, openings, 45 furniture symbols and your own, layers, groups, snapping, undo, templates, Home Assistant area import, Clean up the plan, YAML / JSON export and import. Admins only. |
| Security | Sensitive actions (unlock, open a garage, disarm, run a script…) always confirmed in a dialog naming the real service; imports checked before they apply. See Security. |
| Everywhere | Material Design 3 on top of your HA theme, light and dark, desktop and phone, English and French. |
| Room view | Card on tap | Editor | Phone |

Add the Maquette — demo card (or the Maquette — demo dashboard): a simulated apartment where everything works and nothing is ever sent to your devices. See Getting started › The demo.
This wiki documents version 0.1.0. Screenshots come from the demo apartment, in English. Configuration keys are English; the card interface follows your Home Assistant profile language (English or French). Changes between versions are listed in CHANGELOG.md. The installed version is shown at the top of ⚙ Settings in the editor.
Maquette is developed with Claude Code under the author's direction (see the README). License: MIT.
