What's new

  • The Pager is on TestFlight for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac: join the beta. It is one App Store app on all four.
  • Connect by IP or hostname. If your network blocks discovery, type the Producer's address on the pager's waiting screen or in Settings › Producer.
  • Steadier connections. Pagers retry instead of hanging when a host is unreachable, and say so when Local Network access is off. They reconnect when they return to the foreground or when the Producer goes quiet.
  • Pagers remember your role.
  • Apple TV is easier to read from across the room. Messages scroll with the Siri Remote, and the app has a Top Shelf image.
  • Mac Pager: it stays awake while full screen, and has a Settings window (⌘,).
  • Run Sheet. The Service Flow tab is now called Run Sheet.
  • Cleaner headers. Section headers lose their icon, and the sidebar button is larger. On the Mac the sidebar sits right under the timer.
  • Remote control: a Producer that is controlling another Producer stops advertising itself, so pagers stay on the real show.
  • Plotiphar pairing is hidden for now.
  • Loading screens match the current layouts.

Downloads

  • 13-Years-Producer-1.4.0.dmg: 13 Years Producer and 13 Years Pager.
  • 13-Years-1.4.0.dmg: the Pager only (13 Years, the same app as on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV).

Both are notarized and stapled. Checksums are in SHA256SUMS.

The Mac Pager now shares its bundle ID with the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV app, so its settings start fresh after updating.

Companion module

This build pairs with Companion module 1.4.0 (13yearsproducer-1.4.0.tgz). Its Set UI Mode choices now read Pagers and Run Sheet. Existing buttons keep working.
