Bugs that should be fixed and features added
-BUTTON LAYOUT — TYPE 1 / TYPE 2 row is added in options.
Type 1: Original
Type 2: Modern
-Added WORLD SOUND EFFECTS slider below SOUND EFFECTS, with independent volume and saved settings.
-Added FOOTSTEP SOUND EFFECTS slider, with independent volume and saved settings.
-Added HELD EMOTES ON/OFF immediately below BATTLE ANIMATIONS. It controls only the item-ready checkmark, not anger, warnings, hearts or other existing reactions.
-Removed keyboard rows from the read-only Controls page. Controller and touch descriptions remain.
-Added SHINY SPARKLES ON/OFF below HELD EMOTES.
-Added 122 more frames in options.
Added GAME SPEED with X1, X2, X3 and X4 in OPTIONS.

  • Gameplay, music and sound effects accelerate together; audio pitch rises with playback speed as requested.
  • Animation clocks, physics timing, timed events and source battle animations follow the selected speed.
  • EXP/HP bar animation and egg-reveal frame timing use the scaled clock so single-frame waits do not defeat higher speeds.
  • Speed selection persists in game.ini. X1 restores normal gameplay and audio speed.
    -Complete save sharing, editable game.ini.
-Saves, world caches and game.ini now use Android external-files directory when available: Android/data/com.pokewilds.godot/files/
-Halved automatic message hold time from 2.4 to 1.2 seconds and resource/reward popup time from 1.8 to 0.9 seconds. Halved the timed pauses after battle messages and the provoked-message delay.
-Added BATTLE ANIMATIONS ON/OFF below AUTO RUN. It controls battle move effects, battle sprite animation, capture/send-out effects and animated battle introductions.
-Added an original pixel checkmark inside the existing source speech balloon.
-Temporary source reactions take priority over the held-item marker.
-The marker disappears when the item is collected.
-Added “Press A to skip” to the egg-hatching animation.
-Lowest gameplay zoom is now 45%.
-Applied the source's directional mount/rider drawing rules to the shared FLY, RIDE and SURF renderer. RIDE/SURF redraw the appropriate rider head region over the mount; FLY retains the source's Dragonite and Mantine exceptions. Existing movement, facing and walking frames are preserved.
-FLY retains a foreground layer above placed objects while reserving the next layer for mount parts that must appear in front of the rider.
-Cannot cancel SURF, select another field move, reselect SURF, DROP a monsters, start planting or use a sleeping bag to dismount over water. Normal return to dry land remains available.
-Ice sliding now continues through movement within a tile after input is released. It stops at an obstruction or when leaving ice.
-CUT, BUILD, DIG and HEADBUTT cannot move their controlled Pokemon into built walls or roofs.
-One-tile monsters pushing checks both reserved cells and visible positions of moving monsters. It rejects roofs, solid ground, buildings, eggs, other Pokemon and blocked destinations. Held items are preserved.
-Mega Gengar uses its source boss composition on the stats/front display and its already credited normal/shiny community overworld sheet for party and following poses. The full MEGA GENGAR name fits the party, stats and source battle name labels; storage descriptions retain the form name.
-Normal and Alolan Raichu/Exeggutor keep separate records, types and artwork. Alolan labels now explicitly identify the form instead of exposing an internal alias or collapsing to the normal form's label. Long form labels fit their name areas.
-Indoor bonfires are accepted when restoring saved furniture, including the off-map coordinates used by player houses.
-Tables now use the source house-table connection set, including centers, edges and corners.
-Kilns render their full 24-pixel source artwork.
-New clocks attach to the house's rear wall and persist as wall decorations.
-WINDOW 1/2 preserve the authored window pixels while removing the six-row wall backing below them. The actual supporting wall remains visible. Existing window placement and appearance cycling are preserved.
-Player-built structures are included in map/minimap images before the exploration mask is applied. Structure artwork is cached to avoid repeatedly reading textures during minimap updates.
-DIG works on clear player-house floors. Digging retains the original floor under the hole; filling applies the selected terrain. Indoor dig edits survive saving and loading. Furniture, walls, stairs, exits, eggs and monsters remain protected.
-Bed sleeping draws the source six-pixel trainer head above the bed's final furniture layer. The existing sleeping, healing and dream behavior remains.
-Extended the existing validation-before-caching step to require exactly one fossil lab as well as one mansion, one Regi dungeon and one desert mine.
-Requires all 11 source biome categories: forest, deep forest, wooded lake, savanna, desert, graveyard, mountain, tundra, volcano, beach and oasis.
-Fossil-lab entrance/interior integrity and overlap checks join the existing dungeon-floor, entrance, reward, switch, key and guardian checks.
-Invalid fresh candidates are rejected and retried through the existing three-attempt process. A rejected world is not opened or cached. Existing saved worlds are not regenerated by these changes.
-WOOD WALL preview now uses the actual wood-wall artwork.
-Moved only the preview artwork slightly forward along the facing direction, with clearance for larger preview sprites so they do not cover Machop.
-Preserved Machop's position and the actual build target. Preview centering follows the build direction in all four directions.
-Fixed a reproduced second-door placement failure after cutting a restored wall: regenerated grass underneath the saved wall was making the cut opening reject the door.
-Brown couch interactions now enter the seated state instead of only showing the rest dialogue.
  • Applied the Java source's seated player pose, facing and offsets for all five couch variants.
  • Full couch footprints now block movement, including the upper half of vertical couches.
  • Furniture placement rejects overlapping couch footprints.
  • Seated player renders above the couch; B stands up and restores the prior player position.
  • Couch collision footprints are rebuilt on load and removed when the couch is cut.
-POWER now uses the same animated following mechanism as FLASH.
  • While active, POWER uses FLASH's light texture, radius, brightness and animation.
  • POWER continues to activate the fossil-lab computer and open the fossil reviver interface.
  • Stopping POWER removes its follower and active light.
-Reduced unnecessary per-tile container allocations and temporary generation arrays.
-Rejected generation attempts release their terrain before the next attempt is allocated.
    -Added the list-and-detail Pokédex
-Added POKEDEX above GUIDE in the main menu and linked controller/touch Y to it.
-Includes 370 source-obtainable species/forms, including the added Mew and separate Mega Gengar.
-Shows current game stats, types, height/weight, catch rate, growth, habitat and field skills, with front-facing overworld sprites.
-Registers SEEN during battle, not proximity in the overworld. Concealed ghosts do not reveal their identity.
-Tracks obtained Pokémon as CAUGHT, including hatching and evolution, independently of the current party.
-Saves and restores collection history across sessions. Older saves initialize from Pokémon still owned in party, storage and deployed collections, including neighboring worlds; unrecorded past encounters/releases cannot be reconstructed.
  • Unseen entries show ??? and black silhouettes in both the list and detail panel.
  • A plays the selected species' cry through the Pokémon Cries volume setting.
  • Up/down selects; left/right or shoulder buttons changes page; B closes. Gameplay pauses while the Pokédex is open.
-Fixed Heavy Ball weight lookup to use the source's first weight per national Pokédex number. This corrects zero-weight alternate-form records for Alolan Exeggutor and Darmanitan forms.
-Matched Java single-precision rounding for Nest and Net Ball calculations; the tests reproduced a one-point Nest Ball mismatch before the correction.
-Preserved source-specific ball rules, including its Net Ball turn scaling and lack of extra Timer/Lure Ball modifiers. These are source behavior, not modern main-series rules.
  • Master Ball remains guaranteed for encounters where catching is permitted. Existing capture restrictions remain intact.
-Added repeating animated sparkles to shiny wild, deployed, follower and field-helper actors, using the existing source shiny artwork.
-Sparkles attach to the Pokémon sprite and move with it
-Added the existing shiny symbol beside shiny party sprites. The stats screen retains its existing shiny symbol.
-Pokédex records shiny encounters/ownership separately and saves that history. Recorded shiny entries display their shiny sprite and existing shiny symbol in both list and detail views.
-Unseen Pokémon remain concealed. Eggs do not expose shiny status through these indicators.
-No shiny encounter odds were changed.
-Fixed female Combee’s evolution and Dragonair’s FLY.
-Fixed Mega Gengar battle artwork and two overworld animation issues.
    -Conifer Trees are now fixed.
    -Trunk remains solid.
    -DIG works directly below it.
-Its canopy renders above grounded players; FLY stays above it.
-Mega Gengar now has TELEPORT in its party menu, radial wheel, and Pokédex.
    -Empty-party encounters with Java’s bait/rock/catching menu.
-Dropping a selected quantity of ordinary bag items onto the ground.
-Empty-party Safari Ball, bait, rock and run encounters.
-Choosing quantities of bag items to drop, save and retrieve.
-Map-opening stalls through caching and rendering across frames.
    -Loading inserting or reordering Machop.
-Whiteout healing: every non-egg Pokémon receives half max HP.
-Outdated planting test; repeat planting remains enabled.
-Choice menus remain open until you select or cancel.
-Restored 41 base-power/accuracy values across 37 moves to the original Java 0.8.11 move table.
-The left stick now moves a visible map cursor. The map scrolls when the cursor approaches its visible edge.
  • A opens waypoint naming at the cursor. The prompt requests Android's keyboard; A/Enter saves and B cancels.
  • Waypoints use the existing Unown A sprite. Names appear on the full map; the minimap shows icons only.
  • Adding a waypoint on an existing waypoint's tile updates its name.
  • Waypoints remain associated with their world/interior and are included in normal saves and save-before-quit.
  • Added “Waypoint: A” to map instructions. Existing TELEPORT destination selection remains separate.
Removed the extra full-tile collision north of berry trees. The rooted tile remains blocked; the existing interaction resolver allows picking from above and the other sides.
  • Added an independent Footsteps audio bus. The slider affects movement sounds only, not other world effects, battle audio, cries or music.
  • Restored the Java movement sounds: puddle8 for puddles, overlapping puddle11/puddle9 for tidal movement, alternating swim1 plus sand1 during SURF.
  • Kept the source's puddle-sound exception and suppressed footsteps during FLY.
    -Fixed hopefully all battle animations.

-Changed app ID to com.pokewilds.godot

Important: The new app ID installs separately. Uninstall old app and reinstall the new app. You will have to restart.
