  • New Engine: Mode 1 - Classic Cathode: A faithful tribute to early Android’s iconic 2D ElectronBeam screen-off animation. Features an authentic uniform collapse, razor-sharp letterbox borders, a bright phosphor flash, and a lightning-fast central snap with zero shader overhead.
  • Streamlined Engine Suite: Seamlessly toggle between three distinct physical interpretations:
    1. Classic Cathode: Faithful 2D early-Android nostalgia.
    2. Studio Deflection: Refined magnetic curvature & cyan filament halo.
    3. Enhanced Phosphor Overdrive: Hardware-accelerated AGSL GPU optics.

Phosphor Overdrive (Mode 3) Optical Overhaul

  • Unconfined Chromatic Breakout: The Red and Cyan electron gun color planes are no longer confined to the picture frame! Crimson gun overshoot now sprays above the top edge and Electric Cyan undershoot bleeds below the bottom edge into the dark glass vacuum.
  • Velocity-Coupled Dynamic Kinetic Surge: Chromatic fringes dynamically flare outward with an exaggerated offset during high-speed vertical collapse (anamorphic motion blur effect), then gracefully settle back into a vivid multi-spectral crowning halo framing the equatorial beam.
  • Phosphor Excitation Baseline: Guaranteed vibrant chromatic emission even when collapsing dark-mode apps or black status bars.

Dedicated Settings Page & Analog Noise Controls

  • New Settings Screen: Accessible from the 3-dot dropdown menu with a custom Canvas-drawn CRT gear icon and opening chromatic collision feedback.
  • Analog Noise & Artifacts Card: Three independent, hardware-persisted toggles for users who prefer a clean, distraction-free interface:
    • Header & Button Twitching: Toggle UI chromatic split and convergence flicker.
    • High-Voltage Scanline Arcs: Toggle random atmospheric breakdown sparks arching across the glass.
    • Electrostatic Touch Static: Toggle micro-spark discharges on finger taps and drags.

Installation & First-Time Setup Guide (Android 13–16+)

If this is your first time installing, please note these two standard Android security prompts:

1. Google Play Protect Warning

  • Standard: Tap "More details" ➔ "Install anyway".
  • Strict Block (No "Install anyway" button): Open Google Play Store ➔ Tap profile icon ➔ Play Protect ➔ Settings gear icon ➔ Temporarily toggle OFF "Scan apps with Play Protect" ➔ Install APK ➔ Toggle back ON.

2. Accessibility Toggle Greyed Out? ("Restricted Setting")

  • Long-press the app icon on home screen ➔ Tap (App Info) ➔ Tap three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner ➔ Tap "Allow restricted settings" ➔ Authenticate with fingerprint/PIN ➔ Turn the Accessibility service ON.
