Install as an App
You can install ANURUP like a normal app. It gets its own window and icon, opens from the dock, Start menu or home screen, and keeps working without internet.
- Open https://u77w41.github.io/anurup/.
- Click Install app at the bottom of the left sidebar. The install icon at the right end of the address bar does the same thing.
- Click Install in the dialog.
ANURUP then opens in its own window. Right-click its icon in the dock or taskbar to jump straight to Resize to KB, Passport photo, Compress PDF or Merge PDF.
- Open the site in Chrome.
- Tap the download icon in the top bar, or open the menu at the top left and tap Install app.
- Tap Install.
If you don't see either, use Chrome's own menu (⋮) and tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Open the site in Safari.
- Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.
Safari doesn't support an Install button, so there isn't one on iPhone or iPad. The Share menu is the only way.
Open the site, then choose File → Add to Dock.
After your first visit, ANURUP keeps a copy of itself on your device (about 6 MB). Every tool then opens and works with no connection, in the installed app and in a normal browser tab.
Remove Image Background is the one exception the first time. Its AI model downloads when you first use it (about 100 MB of storage). After that it works offline too.
When a new version is published, ANURUP shows A new version of ANURUP is available with a Reload button. Nothing changes until you click it, so a tool never resets while you are using it. If you skip it, the new version loads the next time you open ANURUP after closing all its windows and tabs.
- Chrome or Edge on a computer: open the app, click the ⋮ menu in its title bar and choose Uninstall ANURUP.
- Android: press and hold the icon, then tap Uninstall.
- iPhone and iPad: press and hold the icon and remove it.
Uninstalling removes the icon. Files you saved to the Workspace stay in the browser until you clear them from the Workspace panel or clear the site's data in your browser settings.
