The plugin can build a kymograph along the bending/undulating
curves/lines/filaments (think microtubules, cilia, neurites, etc).
Here is "one movie illustration" of plugin features on the growing neurites timelapse,
courtesy of @cleterrier lab:

For a more detailed step-by-step example, here is a timelapse recording of
a growing and bending microtubule
with kinesins running along it.
You can provide a reference ROIs at different time points of the movie,
shown here (6 ROIs for 100 frames).
Usually, making reference/keyframe ROIs is an iterative process.
The plugin will morph (or interpolate) ROI shapes at all intermediate frames:
And create a kymograph along them:
Optionally, it will output a straightened "kymograph stack":
