Course Timetabling

Instructors: Percent Share

• Show percent shares and non-default teaching responsibility on the Instructors page.
• Can be configured using unitime.instructors.showPercentShare property (never, always, or when there is a partial assignment below 100%).

Examination Timetabling

Add/Edit Examination: Size Note

• Corrected the note next to the size to follow the tmtbl.exam.useLimit. setting.

Examination Assignment: Minimal Room Size

• When no size is set on the exam, use enrolled students when used without a solver, regardless of the tmtbl.exam.useLimit. setting.
• This preserves the same behavior as the old Struts-based Class Assignments page.

Student Scheduling

Advisor Course Recommendations: Student Status

• Added an option to only allow advisors to change student status to a status with access to the same page (Course Requests or Scheduling Assistant).
• This means that when enabled, advisors cannot move students between pre-registration and open registration statuses.
  • Disabled by default; enable by setting unitime.acrf.sameTypeStatusChangeOnly to true.
• Allow advisors to set the default status if the Can Advisor Set toggle is set.

Online Student Scheduling Dashboard, Reports: Student Status

• Allow advisors to set the default status if the Can Advisor Set toggle is set.
• Only list statuses that the advisor can set to at least one of the selected students.
  • E.g., when only compatible statuses can be set, and all students have a pre-reg status, list only available pre-reg statuses as options.

Student Scheduling Status: Priority Selection

• Added a new flag named "Priority Selection".
• It only applies to student statuses with a fallback status defined.
• When both the status and the fallback status are available (not expired), the user cannot use the fallback status when the original status has the Priority Selection flag.
• Does not apply to administrators (they can still use any status that has not expired yet).

Student Scheduling Assistant, Student Course Requests: Select Academic Session

• Show the optional academic session scheduling campus when available.
• Added an option to switch between Scheduling Assistant and Course Requests pages.
  • All available sessions for both modes are listed, and the appropriate page is shown in the Mode column.
  • Disable by setting unitime.studentScheduling.availableSessionsMixModes to false (default is true).

Administration

Scripts: Log

• Scripts in progress: Improved the responsiveness of the Scripts page when a script has a very long log.
  • Avoid stacking of log update requests.
  • Only load the log for the selected script.

Test HQL, HQL Reports

• Added the ability to link another UniTime page from a report on click.
• Either using the first column named __Link, which opens a new page, or __Dialog, which opens a frame dialog with the page.

Date Patterns: Holidays

• Added Holidays column, which lists all the dates of the date pattern that are over a break or a holiday.

Academic Sessions: Scheduling Campus

• Added an ability to provide an optional campus name to be used in the academic session selection on Scheduling Assistant and Course Requests.
• Defaults to the academic initiative when not set.

Room Types, Instructor Survey Note Types, Student Scheduling Rules, Solver Parameter Groups, Solver Parameters: Sort Order

• Added an ability to move individual records up and down on the detail screen.
