Follow Official Zabbix Docker Github for release notes v7.2.5.

Significant changes

  • The below still applies to 7.2.5 as it did with 7.0.9.
    From the standard zabbix-docker github repository PostgreSQL 17 is still not supported in the Ubuntu container since it is based on Focal (24.04) which does not have PGSQL 17 support in the default launchpad repo. To create "native" PGSQL 17 support in the container I have refactored the build using Plucky (25.04) which is not full GA yet, however it still works fine. I also added a custom build for web-nginx-pgsql utilizing Plucky (25.04) non-GA.

  • Plucky (25.04) no longer supports php8.3 natively from the launchpad repository and is superseded by php8.4. Zabbix 7.2.4 introduced support for php8.4 so the web-nginx-pgsql DockerFile has been updated to specify php8.4 package installations. The etc/conf files/directories have also been updated to support php8.4.
