BookStoreBD 0.3.0

BookStoreBD for Android 0.3.0 brings notifications and messages: hear about your orders as they happen, and talk to buyers and sellers from your phone.

What is new:

• Push notifications for order updates, returns, messages, price drops and more, even when the app is closed
• Notification channels you can tune in Android's settings: orders and returns, messages, deals, account, news
• The notification bell on Home, with the full history and marking one or all as read
• Choose what you hear about, in the app and by e-mail, for each kind of notification
• Messages: chat with buyers and sellers, with photos, delivered live while the app is open
• Message the seller from any book or shop
• Unread counts for notifications and messages on Home and the Account page

Private by design:

• Each push carries only an id; the app fetches the details over a secure connection, so no personal text passes through Google
• No notification token is created until you sign in, and signing out removes it
• Notifications are asked for when they help, never at launch

Requires Android 8.0 or newer. Next up: selling from the app.
