Web UI Guide

Glasscalibur serves a full control panel from the device itself — no app, no account, and no Home Assistant required. Open it in any browser on the same network:

http://glasscalibur-XXXXXX.local

(XXXXXX is your device's MAC suffix — see Wi‑Fi Setup.)

The page is organized into collapsible groups:

Control

• Glasscalibur — the cover control. Use the open/close/stop buttons or drag the position slider (0 % = closed, 100 % = open).
• State — live status: IDLE, OPENING, CLOSING, or TAMPERED.
• Button 1 — shows the state of the on‑device button.

Motion Tuning

• max_speed — how fast the motor runs (steps/s). Higher is faster but louder.
• acceleration — how quickly it ramps up to speed.
• irun — motor run current (1–31). Higher = more torque (and more heat). Use the lowest value that reliably moves your window.

StallGuard / Stall Detection

• StallGuard Enabled — turns on the TMC2209 stall response (stop on jam).
• SGTHRS — StallGuard sensitivity threshold.
• TCOOLTHRS — speed threshold above which StallGuard is active.
• Vibration Stall Detection — accelerometer‑based stall backstop.
• Vibration Threshold / Vibration Stall Samples — its sensitivity and debounce.
• SG_RESULT Sensor / TSTEP Sensor — live readouts for tuning.

Security / Tamper

• Tamper Detection — arm/disarm the anti‑tamper alarm.
• Tamper Threshold — how much movement (in g) trips it.
• Tamper Detected — current alarm state.
• Set Tamper Baseline / Clear Tamper Alert — calibrate and dismiss.

Schedule

• Schedule Enabled — master on/off for all scheduling.
• Sun Schedule — switch between fixed times and sunrise/sunset.
• Open Time / Close Time — fixed daily times.
• Latitude / Longitude / Sun Open Offset / Sun Close Offset — sunrise/sunset configuration.
• Timezone — POSIX timezone string.

Diagnostics

• Firmware Version, Update Firmware (GitHub), Restart
• Open / Close Limit Switch — live end‑stop state
• Motor Temperature, ESP Internal Temperature
• WiFi Signal, IP / SSID / MAC Address, Uptime
• Accel X / Y / Z — live accelerometer readings (useful for tuning)
• Lifetime counters: StallGuard Trips, Vibration Stall Trips, Tamper Trips (with reset buttons)

Physical buttons

The device also has two buttons:

Button	Action
Button 1 — single click	If alarming → silence & clear. If moving → stop. If idle → close the cover.
Button 1 — double click	Open the cover.
Wi‑Fi Reset — hold 3–10 s	Clear saved Wi‑Fi credentials and reboot into setup mode.
