JobFlow v0.4.1

JobFlow v0.4.1 is a frozen public release focused on the store-distributed Browser Companion and a safer local installation boundary.

Highlights

  • Browser Companion 0.9.1 recognizes the signed Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons identities, plus the deterministic development identity.
  • A user-scoped native messaging host authenticates the installed extension to the local JobFlow service without placing private binding data in the source package.
  • The local service uses an exact extension-origin allowlist instead of broad website access.
  • Store installation is the normal user path; unpacked loading remains a source-development option.
  • Deterministic source and extension packaging now includes privacy, identity, required-asset, and leakage checks.
  • Browser Companion 0.9.1 is publicly available from both the Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons.

Safety boundaries

  • JobFlow may prepare approved fields and materials only in a user-present, per-application session.
  • Final Submit remains user-only.
  • Login, account creation, CAPTCHA, MFA, legal or unknown answers, and changed page identity stop for the user.
  • Partial or unknown external outcomes are recorded once and are never retried automatically.
  • Synthetic and offline tests do not claim universal compatibility with every current or future ATS.

Verification

  • 418/418 Python tests passed.
  • 8/8 Browser Companion and DOM suites passed.
  • 46/46 runtime schemas validated.
  • Public tree and full Git history scans reported zero findings.
  • Independent frozen-archive QA reported P0=0, P1=0, and must-fix=0.
  • Release QA used isolated local state, wrote nothing to the configured knowledge sources, and performed no real recruiting-site actions.

Install

  1. Download and extract the attached deterministic source package.
  2. Run Install JobFlow.cmd on a supported Windows account.
  3. Run the one-click health check, then start JobFlow.
  4. Install Browser Companion 0.9.1 from the Chrome Web Store or Microsoft Edge Add-ons.
