JobFlow v0.7.0 — Early Source Release
JobFlow v0.7.0 - Early Source Release
Highlights
- Deeper local review and synthetic browser coverage for company-direct, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, and SmartRecruiters routes.
- Safer multi-page prefill, approved attachments, field reconciliation, and non-final navigation.
- Stronger Windows installation, activation, rollback, recovery, and release verification.
Browser Companion
Version 0.9.2 is publicly available on Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons, independently verified on September 5, 2026. This closes the public store-version requirement, not clean-profile installation or end-to-end acceptance.
The latest stable desktop, v0.6.0, strictly requires Browser Companion 0.9.1 and cannot pair with the store's 0.9.2 update. This v0.7.0 source targets 0.9.2, but a matching signed stable desktop update is still pending. Do not bypass version validation or repeatedly reinstall the extension to resolve an older desktop's mismatch.
Download and verification
Use JobFlow-v0.7.0-f22cd1029312-source.zip for source evaluation and verify it against SHA256SUMS-v0.7.0.txt.
- Frozen source commit:
f22cd1029312b87312ccfca73c4e0176f77935c0. - SHA-256:
fd4e9a3baff0100df269fd6ec6ac446bb717266ba66aac898d5d19269ab4f3e5. - The source archive was rebuilt independently with matching bytes. The existing tag and assets have not been replaced by later changes on
main.
Still a prerelease
- Hosted Windows CI has outstanding failures; corrective work is being verified separately on
main. - Protected publisher attestation, signed complete-runtime assets, and clean-Windows acceptance remain outstanding. The bootstrap installer will not activate an unsigned source-only download.
- No signed update manifest or attested Windows runtime is attached. This is not an update-capable stable release.
- Historical public contributor email metadata still conflicts with the automated noreply-only candidate policy; published history has not been rewritten.
Final application Submit remains user-only. No credential handling, account creation, CAPTCHA/MFA/OTP bypass, or automatic retries of unknown outcomes. Synthetic tests do not establish universal live-site compatibility.
JobFlow v0.6.0
Compatibility notice - September 5, 2026: This desktop release accepts only Browser Companion 0.9.1. Chrome and Edge now publish 0.9.2, which v0.6.0 cannot pair with. Current v0.7.0 source targets 0.9.2, but its signed stable Windows distribution is still pending. Reinstalling the store extension will not fix the mismatch. Preserve existing data, follow the official release notes, and do not bypass version checks or install an unofficial downgrade. The original tag and release assets are unchanged.
JobFlow v0.6.0
JobFlow v0.6.0 adds a bounded, user-authorized discovery lane for finding relevant openings on official company career pages while preserving the local-first, user-present application workflow.
Highlights
- Adds explicit, expiring read-only discovery authorizations with a maximum seven-day window.
- Searches only user-approved official company career sources and stores reviewable job candidates locally.
- Adds deterministic public-feed adapters for supported Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and SmartRecruiters company boards.
- Adds a local candidate inbox, per-source health, automatic pause after repeated source errors, and safe manual resume controls.
- Adds Windows Task Scheduler installation, status, pause, resume, and removal commands protected by process and lifecycle locks.
- Encrypts discovery configuration locally and prevents concurrent updates, stale task definitions, and partial installation or rollback states.
- Keeps the published JobFlow Browser Companion 0.9.1 unchanged for user-present application assistance.
Discovery boundaries
- Discovery requires explicit user opt-in and expires automatically.
- Only public official company career pages are read, using bounded read-only requests.
- Discovery never opens Apply, inspects an application form, creates an application, fills fields, uploads files, sends messages, or submits anything.
- Every candidate remains a local review item until the user starts a separate user-present application workflow.
Application safety boundaries
- Final Submit remains user-only.
- JobFlow does not handle passwords, account creation, CAPTCHA, MFA, OTP, electronic signatures, or protected voluntary disclosures.
- Every application page and field is revalidated before a write.
- Unknown submission results are never retried automatically.
- This release does not claim universal compatibility with every current or future careers site.
Validation
- 500/500 Python tests passed from the frozen source archive and again from a clean Git clone.
- 8/8 browser, DOM, pairing, and UI suites passed.
- 51/51 runtime schemas validated.
- The Skill validator passed.
- Public source, Git history, candidate archive, private staging, and ciphertext integrity scans reported zero findings.
- Four knowledge collections were unchanged; knowledge write operations were zero.
- Frozen-candidate QA reported P0 0, P1 0, must-fix 0.
- Release QA accessed no real recruiting website and performed zero real external actions.

JobFlow v0.5.0 — Signed Windows Updates and ATS Resilience
JobFlow v0.5.0
JobFlow v0.5.0 is a frozen stable release focused on resilient local operation, signed Windows updates, evidence-scoped ATS support, and privacy-safe diagnostics.
Highlights
- Added an explicit, user-initiated signed update path for fixed per-user Windows installations, including archive verification, health checks, and automatic rollback.
- Added stable Start menu launch, health-check, update, rollback, and uninstall entries while keeping private runtime data outside immutable application versions.
- Hardened modern component-based form handling across redraws, Shadow DOM, ARIA controls, and replaced upload inputs.
- Added local, user-present pause, resume, and run-now controls for already saved work without creating a background task or service.
- Added evidence-scoped provider support reporting and offline contracts for Ashby and SmartRecruiters without claiming unverified live-site compatibility.
- Added privacy-safe local diagnostics and optional bounded incident history for user-reviewed support exports.
- Improved keyboard navigation, live-region feedback, high-contrast behavior, and reduced-motion support in the bilingual UI.
Safety boundaries
- Final Submit is always clicked by the user.
- Login, account creation, credentials, CAPTCHA, MFA, OTP, signatures, sensitive legal answers, and unknown controls stop for user review.
- A changed page, field, or application identity stops safely.
- Partial or unknown external outcomes are recorded once and are never retried automatically.
- Update checks run only after an explicit user action and accept only the pinned GitHub stable channel with a valid release signature.
- Synthetic and offline evidence does not claim universal compatibility with every current or future ATS.
Verification
- 459/459 Python tests passed.
- 8/8 Browser Companion and DOM suites passed.
- 50/50 runtime schemas validated.
- The deterministic 371-file source archive was independently reproduced byte for byte.
- Public tree and full Git history scans reported zero findings.
- Independent frozen-archive QA reported P0=0, P1=0, and must-fix=0.
- Release QA used isolated local state, left all configured knowledge sources unchanged, and performed no real recruiting-site actions.

JobFlow v0.4.1 — Browser Companion Store Release
JobFlow v0.4.1
JobFlow v0.4.1 is a frozen public release focused on the store-distributed Browser Companion and a safer local installation boundary.
Highlights
- Browser Companion 0.9.1 recognizes the signed Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons identities, plus the deterministic development identity.
- A user-scoped native messaging host authenticates the installed extension to the local JobFlow service without placing private binding data in the source package.
- The local service uses an exact extension-origin allowlist instead of broad website access.
- Store installation is the normal user path; unpacked loading remains a source-development option.
- Deterministic source and extension packaging now includes privacy, identity, required-asset, and leakage checks.
- Browser Companion 0.9.1 is publicly available from both the Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons.
Safety boundaries
- JobFlow may prepare approved fields and materials only in a user-present, per-application session.
