JobFlow v0.5.0

JobFlow v0.5.0 is a frozen stable release focused on resilient local operation, signed Windows updates, evidence-scoped ATS support, and privacy-safe diagnostics.

Highlights

  • Added an explicit, user-initiated signed update path for fixed per-user Windows installations, including archive verification, health checks, and automatic rollback.
  • Added stable Start menu launch, health-check, update, rollback, and uninstall entries while keeping private runtime data outside immutable application versions.
  • Hardened modern component-based form handling across redraws, Shadow DOM, ARIA controls, and replaced upload inputs.
  • Added local, user-present pause, resume, and run-now controls for already saved work without creating a background task or service.
  • Added evidence-scoped provider support reporting and offline contracts for Ashby and SmartRecruiters without claiming unverified live-site compatibility.
  • Added privacy-safe local diagnostics and optional bounded incident history for user-reviewed support exports.
  • Improved keyboard navigation, live-region feedback, high-contrast behavior, and reduced-motion support in the bilingual UI.

Safety boundaries

  • Final Submit is always clicked by the user.
  • Login, account creation, credentials, CAPTCHA, MFA, OTP, signatures, sensitive legal answers, and unknown controls stop for user review.
  • A changed page, field, or application identity stops safely.
  • Partial or unknown external outcomes are recorded once and are never retried automatically.
  • Update checks run only after an explicit user action and accept only the pinned GitHub stable channel with a valid release signature.
  • Synthetic and offline evidence does not claim universal compatibility with every current or future ATS.

Verification

  • 459/459 Python tests passed.
  • 8/8 Browser Companion and DOM suites passed.
  • 50/50 runtime schemas validated.
  • The deterministic 371-file source archive was independently reproduced byte for byte.
  • Public tree and full Git history scans reported zero findings.
  • Independent frozen-archive QA reported P0=0, P1=0, and must-fix=0.
  • Release QA used isolated local state, left all configured knowledge sources unchanged, and performed no real recruiting-site actions.

Install or update

New installation:

  1. Download and extract JobFlow-v0.5.0-d3ae976d53f6-source.zip.
  2. Run Install JobFlow.cmd on a supported Windows account.
  3. Run the one-click health check and start JobFlow.
  4. Install Browser Companion 0.9.1 from the Chrome Web Store or Microsoft Edge Add-ons.

Existing fixed installation:

  1. Run the installed Update JobFlow shortcut, or run Update JobFlow.cmd from the current source package.
  2. Review the detected version and approve the signed update.
  3. JobFlow validates the new version before switching and rolls back automatically if the health check fails.
