First of all, thank you for the latest SteamOS update.
The improvements to Performance Mode, Balance Mode, and Low Power Mode are excellent. The system feels much smoother, more stable, and I rarely experience stuttering anymore. I really appreciate the work the SteamOS team has done.
However, I am still experiencing a battery charging issue on my Lenovo Legion Go S.
The Battery Charge Limit feature does not always work correctly. Even when the charging limit is set (for example, 80%), the device sometimes continues charging beyond the configured limit. In addition, the battery percentage occasionally behaves unexpectedly while charging.
This issue has occurred multiple times since updating to SteamOS 3.8.16 (Build 20260716.1). The issue is intermittent and cannot be reproduced every time, but it has happened multiple times since the update. Since battery health is very important for handheld gaming devices, I hope this issue can be investigated and fixed in a future SteamOS update.

Steps for reproducing this issue
- Enable Battery Charge Limit (for example, 80%).
- Connect the charger.
- Leave the device connected to the charger.
- Occasionally, the battery continues charging beyond the configured charge limit.
- The battery percentage may also behave unexpectedly while charging.

The battery should stop charging once it reaches the configured charge limit, and the battery percentage should remain accurate and stable.
