VelantisWind 0.1.10

First public experimental release of VelantisWind.

VelantisWind is an open-source QGIS plugin for early-stage wind farm analysis, validation workflows and geospatial pre-assessment tasks.

Installation note

PyWake is not installed through the QGIS Plugin Manager. It must be installed in the Python environment used by QGIS.

On Windows, open OSGeo4W Shell and run:

python -m pip install py_wake==2.6.18

Then restart QGIS and install VelantisWind from the ZIP file.

Compatibility

This release is intended for QGIS 3.x.

QGIS 4 compatibility is being evaluated and may work in some environments, but it is not yet declared as fully stable in this release.

Status

This is an experimental release intended for testing, validation and community feedback.
