The first stable release of the portable personal assistant kit: download, unzip, open the folder in your approved desktop agent and follow the guided setup. Name your assistant, keep local memory, manage tasks on the HTML board and use the included planning, contacts, briefing and custom-skill workflows.

What changed since beta.3

• Updated HTML/PDF guide and README, with clear latest-release download and safe-upgrade instructions.
• Basic Microsoft 365 connection guidance: check each connection in the app you use and ask IT about assignment or consent blocks. Access in another app does not automatically transfer.
• Codex troubleshooting: try Ask for approval (manual review) if Approve for me fails, while keeping the sandbox enabled. This is not a verified repair for Windows command-start errors; persistent errors need app/IT support. No Full Access or sandbox-account/configuration workaround is recommended.
• Scoped, anonymised user-reported acceptance evidence, with remaining app and connector checks stated honestly.
• Upgrade regression coverage; release and skill metadata aligned to v1.0.0. Core helper and board behaviour are unchanged.

Existing users

Save progress, download the ZIP and extract into a separate new folder. Ask your current assistant to copy your personal files and verify your profile, notes, tasks and custom skills before switching. Keep the original folder intact and use only one writer. Follow the update guide. Do not extract over an existing setup.

Evidence and scope

25 automated tests pass, alongside browser, rendered-PDF and public-package checks. A rehearsal against the final v1.0 ZIP preserved fictional personal data and left the previous folder unchanged.

Reported app tests cover Codex/Windows Outlook email summary and local save/read-back, plus Claude Code setup, profile customisation and honest handling of blocked Microsoft 365 access. These are scoped user reports, not universal app certification. The Windows sandbox issue remains unresolved. Calendar, live Teams, attachments and several broader app/user scenarios remain unverified; see test evidence.

The stable core uses your approved app's existing permissions. Outlook, Calendar and Teams availability depends on that app and your organisation's connections. The briefing workflow is read-only. Apache 2.0 licensing is unchanged; no independent security-certification claim is made.
