Bible translation picker

Scripture can now be read in the King James Version as well as the World English Bible. Pick a translation from the bar on the bible page or from Settings; the choice applies app-wide and is remembered between sessions. WEB remains the default, and the deuterocanon always reads from WEB.

Bar and layout polish

  • The translation picker sits on the left of the bar, with the chapter chip trailing, between the book picker and the navigation arrows.
  • All bar chips share the same 24px height, and the chip gaps match the arrow spacing.
  • The translation label uses the mono font and the accent red in the bar chip.

Fixes

  • Dismissing the mobile history drawer no longer clears the open reading.
  • Stray spaces before punctuation in WEB text are collapsed.
