Screen size vlv 1.2.0

Screen size vlv 1.2.0 makes the app’s visible name consistent across its macOS bundle, preferences, menu bar, documentation, and packaging while preserving the focused window-placement workflow.

What's new

  • The packaged app is now presented as Screen size vlv in Finder and macOS.
  • Preferences, menu-bar labels, and English and Spanish copy use the same visible name.
  • Documentation and release instructions now match the packaged app name and v1.2.0 artifacts.

Requirements

  • macOS 13 Ventura or newer.
  • Accessibility permission, which macOS requires to move windows owned by other apps.

Install

  1. Download the ZIP and its .sha256 checksum file.
  2. Verify it with shasum -a 256 -c screen-size-vlv-1.2.0-macos-unsigned.zip.sha256.
  3. Unzip the archive and move Screen size vlv.app to /Applications.
  4. On first launch, Control-click the app and choose Open if Gatekeeper asks for confirmation.
  5. Grant Accessibility access from Preferences.

screen-size-vlv 1.1.0

screen-size-vlv 1.1.0 adds a dedicated About screen while keeping the focused native macOS window-placement workflow from v1.0.0.

What's new

  • New About tab in Preferences with the app version, MIT license, VLV GitHub profile, and project repository.
  • New About screen-size-vlv item in the menu bar for direct access to that information.
