QuotaPin 1.2.0

QuotaPin 1.2.0 repairs the update path, keeps long-running quota delivery quiet and current, and makes the macOS package dramatically smaller.

  • Reliable Windows update launch: panel and tray updates now cross an attached PowerShell launcher and publish a bounded start receipt before QuotaPin reports that the update began.
  • No duplicate handoff: setup waits for the updater's ownership receipt before supervising the replacement Agent.
  • One-time bridge from older Windows builds: QuotaPin 1.1.2 and earlier can fail before their updater starts. Run the 1.2.0 installer or Quick Start once; settings are preserved and the running Codex session stays open.
  • Quieter renderer delivery: identical documents are no longer delivered repeatedly, reducing needless layout work and removing a source of intermittent module flashes.
  • Stable quota line: account-row resize keeps quota-line geometry attached to the real row without a delayed catch-up frame.
  • Thin macOS host: the universal package uses a small integrity-verifying native host and the signed runtime already inside official Codex instead of embedding another complete runtime.
  • Bounded macOS recovery: runtime rediscovery backs off after an unavailable or changed Codex path rather than spinning or downloading a substitute.
  • Maintained support floor: the in-product version picker now offers 1.2.0 and later. Older Releases remain immutable history, not supported rollback targets.
  • No forced Codex restart: installation, repair, and update never close or relaunch a running Codex session.

Windows requires x64 Windows 10 version 2004 or later; Windows 11 is verified and Windows 10 remains best effort. Windows ARM64 is not supported. The macOS package is ad-hoc signed and CI-validated; signed-in real-device and Gatekeeper acceptance remains provisional.
