Process Forge 1.0.2
ProcessForge 1.0.2 is a compatibility and documentation release focused on making updates easier to configure and safer to validate.
What changed:
- Update servers now use a simpler contract: a manifest link and a changelog link.
- Update manifests can also be local files, which is useful for offline, staged, or private installations.
- The update documentation now explains how to update both the installed ProcessForge core and existing project
.pffolders. - Runtime-driver documentation now matches the current shell-agent launch flow, including model selection and reasoning level selection by the orchestrator.
- Validators and smoke tests were aligned with the simplified update model.
Upgrade notes:
- No project
.pfmigration is required for 1.0.2. - For an installed core, unpack the new release into a new versioned ProcessForge directory, verify it, then point your launcher or workspace config to the new core.
- For existing projects, run the usual upgrade check, context refresh, context check, and project doctor from the new core.
Validation:
- Public release test passed.
- Schema validation, checksum validation, public cleanliness checks, update smokes, release-check, and archive verification passed.
