Switcher3way for Windows — 0.1.1 (preview)
Auto-fixes the keyboard layout as you type across English, Ukrainian, and Russian — the same precision-first, N-way engine as the macOS app.
New in 0.1.1
- In-app updates. Switcher3way now checks this page daily (and on demand via the tray menu → Check for Updates…) and offers a one-click Install and Relaunch when a newer build is out — parity with the macOS app. Toggle it in Settings → Advanced. Downloads are verified against the published SHA-256 before installing.
(0.1.0 already included the 16-language UI and the built-in offline Help.)
Install
- Download
Switcher3way-0.1.1-win-x64.msibelow. - Double-click it and approve the User Account Control prompt (per-machine install).
- This preview isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may warn — click More info → Run anyway.
- Launch Switcher3way from the Start menu; it lives in the system tray (the flag icon shows the current layout). From here, future updates are one-click.
Requirements: Windows 10/11, 64-bit. No .NET install needed — the runtime is bundled (~55 MB download).
Known limitations (preview)
- Unsigned → SmartScreen warning on first run (see step 3). Updates verify by SHA-256 over HTTPS.
- x64 only (no arm64 build yet).
- Won't rewrite text inside elevated/administrator windows unless the app itself runs as administrator.
