Can't hide "games" icon

In Settings → Apps & Icons, set "Games" to "hidden". The icon remains on the dock.

IMO, this ("Games") is also a terrible idea.

Regarding the game's idea, we can gather a bit more of feedback on them and then remove or hide them by default, like we have done with the "native" posts, pages, categories, profiles, comments, etc. Those are still there, but available for whoever wants to use it :)

But do I recall correctly if you said you love the minimalistic wallpaper? I'll try to focus my efforts on making the UI/UX more minimalistic (customisable)

One of the reasons behind adding games, is a bit of "spreading the word" somehow. We don't see a strong growth in the active users and somehow we are aiming to do more "noise".

For wallpaper, I use a simple custom gradient. I don't have any icons or widgets shown on the desktop.

FWIW, I would never play games in the WP admin. I don't know anyone who would. This seems like unnecessary bloat.

Focus on efficiency, customizability and rock-solid performance and word of mouth will spread. You may create "noise" with games, but it will be the wrong kind of noise.

Yeah, thinking about it twice, makes sense. We might probably add this as an external plugin rather than make it "mandatory", that means, uploaded to the WordPress plugin repository, whoever wants to have it, just install it separately.
