Goal Ladder v1.0.0
First release.
A small desktop app for goals that lead to other goals. Write down what you are working toward and, if it leads somewhere, what comes after it. Only the next step is in focus. Later steps stay visible but locked until you reach the one before. No dates, no reminders, no accounts. Everything stays on your machine.

Linux needs webkit2gtk 4.1; the packages declare it. The Linux binary is built on Ubuntu 22.04, so it runs on anything from that age onward.
What's in it
- Ladders of steps where each one unlocks the next, or a single step for a plain goal
- The current step shown large with a one-click Reached it button, reached steps ticked, later steps padlocked
- Undo from the toast or from the last ticked step
- Type a whole ladder on one line with
->and it splits into steps - Add steps to the top of any ladder at any time, including finished ones
- Optional ladder names, reordering, and a Completed section for finished ladders
- Saves are written safely with the previous version kept as a backup
- No accounts, no sync, no tracking
Known limits
- No AppImage yet; use the tarball on distros without deb, rpm or pacman.
- Windows builds are from the GitHub runner and lightly tested. Report anything odd.
- macOS isn't built.
