DW2-PC v0.1.1
Speed-up for battles and domains, a cleaner start on Windows and a Discord link.
You need your own copy of the game. The downloads contain no game data. On the first start
the port checks your disc image (USA, SLUS-01193) and builds its data pack from it. Updating from
v0.1.0: unpack over the old folder; your saves, settings and data pack stay.
New
- Speed-up (F3): unlocks the game speed, like an emulator's fast forward. Battles, attacks,
walking in the domains and menus run faster. F3 again locks it to normal speed; a short notice
shows "Speed unlocked: 3x" / "Speed locked". Pick the speed in F1, new Game tab: 2x, 3x
(default), 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x or no limit. Music and battle voices play faster with it (voices are
silent with no limit); movies always play at normal speed. It starts locked on every launch.
--speed-upstarts with it on. - No console window on Windows:
dw2.exeopens only the game window. Started from cmd or
PowerShell it still prints its log there. A start-up error now shows a message box. - Program icon: a DW2 icon on
dw2.exe, the window and the taskbar. - Join Discord button in the F1 settings window (opens the invite in Discord or your browser).
