Ship Type regex trigger fix
Ship Update Verbosity and Filter Granularity
There was a slightly annoying issue when you clicked on an item to filter by that string where it would be applied across all fields. Sometimes this would pull information that wasn't scoped in a natural way. The search box will still be applied across all fields, but if you click an item for a given field it will only search for matches in the same field. For example, clicking on an owner's name will only show results with an owner containing that string, and not a ship name that might have it.
The other big update is just a visibility thing. Whenever you locate a ship, you would get an indicator in the main window if it was being "added" or "updated". Now when you get an "update" it will show exactly which fields are changing. All around this just gives you the easy flexibility of seeing what changed without having to skim through every locates record for a given ship.
Mudlet 4.20 Missing Planet/Dock Bug Fix
The latest version of Mudlet broke the multi line trigger to capture the dock and planet of a ship. This should fix it.
Fix Character Load Bug
I made a slight oversight with the event handler that checks for character switching and loads the database. The results was that any action in game that causes a gmcp.Ship.Info event would also trigger the load function. This is particularly troublesome when using the botting commands.
Bug found and reported by Magtherius. Thank you sir!
Refining Deletion Logic
Adding functionality to delete related records from the docking_records table when a ship is deleted from the main table.
Pagination and Auto Updating
This release adds pagination to the shipdb display. I ran into a bug that I couldn't quite crack when the shipdb list ballooned over several hundred records. The click filters stopped working. I could not pin it down and I suspect it was related to the sheer amount of lines being rendered. Regardless, it is better practice to paginate these results for a table that could be theoretically infinite in size just for the sake of resource management.
I've also added a function that will check for updates and can manually be run from the alias command to check. It'll prompt the user before doing so and reference the release page for the latest version.
Testing Update Tool
This is a real update, but also seeing if the updater actually works.
Initial Release
This is the initial public release. I rigorously tested the prototype before I added a bunch of features this weekend. There's bound to be a bug somewhere, but it's good enough to release into the wild.
