Type: Bro Code course project Date: Sept 2026 Concepts: functions with return values, shared state, input validation, switch in a do-while menu, Sleep() from windows.h

What it does

Simulates a simple ATM ("Unreliable Banking") with check balance, deposit, and withdraw, rejecting negative deposits and overdrafts with personality in the error messages.

What I learned

I practiced functions that take a parameter and return a value used to update the same variable back in main() (balance -= withdraw(balance)). I also learned that windows.h and Sleep() are platform-specific and won't compile as-is on Mac or Linux, an early lesson in portability.
