How I Learn

My workflow for building and documenting each project. Back to Home.

  1. Build it. Follow the course or write my own project in C.
  2. Review it. Paste the finished code for feedback on bugs and style.
  3. Fix it myself. Debugging is where most of the learning happens, so I try to trace and fix problems before looking at answers.
  4. Write the project README. What it does, example output, build and run steps, concepts practiced, and an honest "what I learned", including debugging struggles and any outside help.
  5. Update the trackers. Add the project to the root README and c-project-tracker.md.
  6. Add a wiki page using the Project-Template.

I note outside help openly, as in Time-Utility-Program, and then go back and trace the code until I can explain it myself.
