Release list
v0.2.1
Portfolio-readiness pass on top of v0.2.0 — a real feature surfaced on the
dashboard, a couple of real bugs fixed, and a pass to make the landing page
and README read well to someone skimming them cold.
What's new since v0.2.0:
- Task pool surfaced on the dashboard. The pull-based
queue/next
dispatch model (added in v0.2.0) now shows up visually: the dashboard's
Active tasks stat gets an "N in pool, unclaimed" chip whenever something's
sitting in the shared pool, so push-based and pull-based dispatch are both
visible at a glance instead of only inferable from a task's assignee. - Fixed: the landing page's release button pointed at a pinned tag
instead of/releases/latest, so it would've gone stale on every future
release. Fixed, and the README's test count (which had drifted from the
actual suite size) was corrected too. - Richer, more realistic seed data (a
ci-runnersession/host, a
reworked task pool and message thread with a real burst/lull pattern) and
a scrollable-timeline CSS fix so the dashboard's two columns balance
visually instead of one trailing off far past the other. - Portfolio readability pass: the landing hero now leads with a
plain-English line and a stat strip (test count, verified platforms, the
two-machine dogfood story) instead of burying that context below the
fold. README gained a "Known limitations" section (queue has no priority
or expiry, dashboard is intentionally local-only with no auth) so those
read as deliberate scope, not oversights. package.json's version had been stuck at0.1.0since the project
started, even through the v0.2.0 tag. Synced to0.2.1here.
62/62 tests passing, CI green, verified cross-platform (macOS, Windows,
Linux via CI).

v0.2.0
Public launch of MACD (Multi-Agent Command Deck) — a real GitHub Pages
site, a genuine cross-platform-verified feature set, and actual pull-based
orchestration logic, not just a dashboard.
What's new since v0.1.0:
- A public site — yashrao10.github.io/macd — with a real, clickable dashboard demo (
docs/demo/, the actual dashboard's HTML/CSS/JS fetching static seeded data instead of a live server, honestly labeled as a frozen snapshot) - Pull-based task dispatch:
macd queue "<description>"drops a task into a shared, unclaimed pool;macd next <session-id>claims the oldest pending task that's either already assigned to that session or sitting in the pool. Complements the existing push-basedmacd assign - Crash-vs-clean-exit detection: a spawned pane's crash is now distinguished from a clean shutdown in real time, verified on both macOS and Windows
- The Windows named-pipe path and the crash-detection race were both real cross-platform bugs found and fixed along the way, not just assumed to work
- 59 passing tests (up from 53), CI green on every push
Renamed from agent-deck to MACD (Multi-Agent Command Deck) — see PROMPT_INPUTS.md's 2026-09-16 entry for the naming discussion (it does collide with the trading indicator of the same acronym; that tradeoff was made deliberately).

v0.1.0
First tagged release of MACD (Multi-Agent Command Deck) — a terminal multiplexer and orchestration layer for running a fleet of Claude Code sessions as coordinated workers.
What's in v0.1.0:
macd watch— spawn and view multiple live sessions side-by-side in split panesmacd send/assign/tasks— cross-process messaging and task tracking between sessionsmacd dashboard— a read-only web view (session cards, a Kanban task board, an activity feed with a message-volume sparkline)- Cross-platform: verified working on both macOS (native PTY layer) and Windows (named pipes), including live crash-vs-clean-exit detection for spawned panes
macd seedfor demo data, 53 passing tests, CI on every push
This project is its own dogfood case — built across a real two-machine setup (Windows as orchestrator, MacBook as worker) using the exact cross-session delegation pattern the tool exists to formalize.
