What’s New

🏘️ KasetPlus Community — right inside the app

A brand-new Community hub, opened from the sidebar. No browser needed:

  • Report an issue: browse open issues, and compose a new one straight from the repo’s issue templates, with auto-collected diagnostics (app / macOS / hardware info and recent logs — fully reviewable before sending, no secrets included).
  • Discussions: browse, upvote, and create discussions without leaving KasetPlus.
  • Sign in with GitHub via Device Flow — no password, and your token is stored securely in the Keychain. Reading issues works without signing in.

🔴 Live streams, done right

  • Live chat: watch the chat scroll by and send messages directly from the player.
  • Live edge button & DVR progress bar: see how far behind the live edge you are and jump back to live in one click.
  • Seeking on live streams now works correctly, and the download button is hidden where it doesn’t apply.

🚫 Ad blocker on the Music player

The ad blocker now also covers the YouTube Music player, for uninterrupted listening.

⏱️ Clickable comment timestamps

Timestamps in video comments are now clickable — tap one to jump straight to that moment.

✨ Reliability & polish

  • Settings: Addons has its own tab again, the window is wider, and “controls on video” is now the default.
  • Deep links: kaset:// links are now delivered reliably on launch.

  • Sidebar: re-selecting the current sidebar item now pops nested navigation back to the root.
