Swift Witchcraft comes from the 5.5 feat benefit Swift Invocation: "You can use an action to cast a spell that has a casting time of 1 minute. Once you use this benefit, you can't do so again until you finish a Long Rest." Baldur's Gate 3 casts every spell with a single action — nothing in the game has a 1-minute casting time — so that benefit has nothing to act on and the feat cannot be brought over as written. What it does now is a reinterpretation drawn from it: once, you ignore the One Spell with a Spell Slot per Turn restriction. The once-per-Long-Rest limit is not something added on top of it. That is the original feat's own wording, so it stays as it is. |
