Can DnD 5.5e All-in-One BEYOND be safely removed from an existing save?

I'm using version 4.7.17.0. I respecced my player character and companions to vanilla Level 1 Fighter, then used Volitio's Mod Uninstaller 1.7.1 with the mod UUID 897914ef-5c96-053c-44af-0be823f895fe.
The save still loads normally while DnD 5.5e is enabled. However, after disabling DnD 5.5e in BG3 Mod Manager and exporting the load order, BG3 warns that the mod is missing and then crashes while loading the save.
Is DnD 5.5e intended to be removable from an existing campaign? If so, are there specific statuses, passives, items, spells, progression data, or other resources that must be removed before disabling the mod?
