Codex Beacon 0.9.0 新增 Linux 桌面支持，配套采集器更新为 0.5.9。

  • Ubuntu 桌面使用 libnotify 系统通知，提供“打开对话”；沿用项目分组、状态灯、轮次、用量详情、自动已读和仪表盘。
  • 系统与自定义 WAV／MP3 音效支持分场景设置、0–100% 独立音量、静音和失效回退。
  • 修复 Unix 套接字的长路径限制，保留私有权限、双向 TLS 与证书校验。
  • 增加 Windows、Linux、macOS CI；提供 macOS AppleScript／afplay 预览后端。macOS 桌面弹窗权限、可见性、音效和窗口操作仍待真机验收，系统通知没有直接打开会话按钮。

验证：Windows 228 项 JavaScript 通过（1 项 POSIX 检查跳过）；Ubuntu 219 项通过（10 项 Windows 检查跳过）。两端均通过 42 项采集器、28 项包验证、4 项配置检查。Ubuntu 真实 VS Code 宿主 25 项、原生通知接口及 WAV／MP3 音效实测通过。GitHub 三平台自动化结果见仓库 Actions。

Ubuntu 通常已有所需桌面工具；缺失时安装 python3 openssl libnotify-bin pipewire-bin sound-theme-freedesktop。需要已登录的桌面；勿扰、通知设置及 VMware 音频设备会影响可见／可听结果。详细范围见平台支持。

下载 codex-beacon-0.9.0.vsix 安装主扩展；SSH／容器目标安装 codex-beacon-collector-0.5.9.vsix。升级旧通知后台后，在任务空闲时重新打开 VS Code。此 Release 不表示扩展市场已经更新。

Codex Beacon 0.9.0 adds Linux desktop support with Collector 0.5.9.

  • Ubuntu uses libnotify native alerts with Open conversation, retaining project groups, state indicators, rounds, usage details, automatic read acknowledgement and the dashboard.
  • System sounds and custom WAV/MP3 support per-event settings, independent 0–100% volume, mute and fallback.
  • Short private Unix sockets fix long-path failures while preserving mutual TLS and certificate checks.
  • Windows, Linux and macOS CI; macOS AppleScript/afplay preview. Physical Mac testing remains pending for notification permission, visible popups, audio and window activation. macOS system notifications have no direct conversation action.

Windows: 228 JavaScript checks passed with one POSIX check skipped. Ubuntu: 219 passed with ten Windows checks skipped. Both passed 42 collector, 28 package and four settings checks. Ubuntu passed 25 real VS Code host checks and real libnotify/WAV/MP3 audio checks. See Actions for three-platform automated results.

Ubuntu dependencies, if missing: python3 openssl libnotify-bin pipewire-bin sound-theme-freedesktop. A logged-in desktop is required. Do Not Disturb, notification permissions and VMware audio affect actual visibility/audibility. See platform support.

Install codex-beacon-0.9.0.vsix locally; use codex-beacon-collector-0.5.9.vsix in SSH/container targets. Reopen VS Code when tasks are idle after upgrading an older broker. This GitHub release does not indicate a Marketplace update.
